We have a Sol Horizon. We just purchased it so we haven't slept in it yet. We may try this topper on ours we've heard the factory mattress isn't too good...Our daughter will sleep on the front dining area so maybe a twin would work up there...

The family loves the extra foam pad!! In our Sol Dawn, sleeping direct on the dinette cushions is survivable, but not all that comfortable. It's good to have the extra pad for extending stays, for which we will usually leave the dinette set up as a bed with the pad. Thanks for watching!!!

Great vid; not sure if you realize that you’re the only one out there doing this with the Dawn on YT. I ask a question on one of your other videos; that I see your answering in this video. I don’t own one yet we’re interested in one as our 2nd camper to our current Grand Design XLS 22mle. Which is a large couples couch. Anyway continue doing these videos; you have the talent and videography is good. Get more technical; let people know why your using the Pilot and how you hook it up and if your using a WDH system. Let them see you around a campfire; have these conversations at the campsite. Great to hear your wife on her review of sleeping; me as her my hips take on pressure and I’m like you, light and fit. But my hips are sensitive to pressure. Now I will say Ouch you didn’t go with the Intech Sol due to your Son. Yet perhaps it was storage or Honda Pilot capabilities? Our first TT was an East to West bed and that got old fast! Any camper we buy now has to have the ability for either of us to get out bed individually. Anyway will Subscribe you have real YT here and that’s awesome.. Greetings from Miami FLA.

Thanks for all the feedback!! We truly appreciate it 🥰 I started this channel when I got back into camping. Then we went all in and got this Sol Dawn Camper. There was soooo much we didn't know and I was really hard finding information on how to do things. So we started doing videos about the Sol Dawn for those who might be considering it and be intimidated by RV's. We still have so much more we want to share. We are still up in the air about how we go about recommending a WDH. There are folks that swear by it and others that are pretty confident it's not required. Intech started added reinforcement plate to the aluminum frames because so many folks were putting on WDH with sway bars. Based on the front rack design and them adding the extra reinforcement tells me that the WDH is not really required for this model. I would maybe consider it for a larger RV. Much depends on your TV, how you pack and your total weights. We found that it drove much better for us without it. Particularly since many of the roads we go on are narrow and twisty. Having a separate full be is certainly nice, but we are learning all the different configurations to make the convertible dinette work perfect for us. From what I have seen in response to going to full size beds is what you would be looking for. Most folks really like to have the ability to get in and out of the bed without having to climb over someone, so it looks like the Magnolia would be better over the Horizon. Also, many folks complain about beds being right up against the outside wall, particularly when it's cold in the winter. We do have some more videos planned that include some of the topics you mentioned. I really like the fireside chat idea. No matter what you decide to get or not get, keep on Camping!!!

I thought I had replied way back seeing I didn’t, sorry. Appreciate your reply and I get it. We brought a Tab 320 used 2021 yr model. We sold just recently. This was 2nd camper to visit our kids and trips based on time, being able to drive 72-75 mph and still getting 17.5 to 18.5 mpg. With my F150 2.7 Ecoboost. Where as with our 26ft Grand Design couple’s Coach 60 - 62 mph getting 9.8 to 10.5 mpg. But we are planning to down size altogether to something max 3.700 lbs dry weight and bed configuration that allows both of us to get out without climbing over each other. Used market keeps looking more attractive so maybe late January or February we’ll pull the trigger and trade in our beautiful Grand Design. We also need it to be as close to 4 seasons as possible. Since we camp moderate winters in North GA and Tennessee. Blessings to you and your family a Merry Christmas to all

We have heard that others have had this issue, but it has not been a problem for us.
