Heartbreak and sadness fill a Denton County RV Park hit by a Saturday evening tornado. All the RVs are damaged or destroyed, but amazingly, everyone escaped alive.
Prayers for my fellow Texans suffering through this & families of the 7 (as of now) who lost their lives, including a family who lost their 5 & 2 y/o children. Heartbreaking. May God bless them, Texas & America. 🇺🇸 🇸🇴🇮🇩 🙏
Tornadoes seem to love RV Parks, no matter what the state is, Texas, Florida etc…. So glad there were no fatalities and everyone sought shelter before it hit. Prayers for rebuilding! 🩵
This is just so sad. The tornado season has been brutal for so many people this year. I hope they get money allocated to them rather than so many of the other government 'ideas'.
May they all get the resources they'll need to recover and survive especially through these hard times. I don't own an RV but do insurance companies cover any of their losses?
If you lived in *a cement, rebar enforced, dome home,* it would be untouched. Fire and termites can't destroy it, either. No need to have roof maintained/replaced. *Insurance is low cost.* Low cost to heat/cool.
I have so many things I would absolutely give them in a heartbeat. Clothing, household items food and more. I could even try to collect donations from my family, people in my community and more. Is there a to get the stuff to them? Is anyone helping them with lodging at the moment? Whats being done?
THe Creators words don't return void when u find out u will hate the lies you were taught esp about a certain demographic that is at the bottom and how they have suffered marginalized across the globe placed in every nation
Tornadoes can occur in 1/2 the country. Not really practical for 1/2 the country to never allow RVs or modular homes or mobile homes. I’m not even including all the states in the SE that get hurricanes.
I was thinking the same thing. However, they had everything set up permanently and probably didn't have enough warning to move. I take my RV to the coast but leave the truck hooked and can be rolling in 5 minutes. They were elderly and wasn't prepared for the tornado.
What you're seeing is exactly what an RV would look like in a crash. They don't hold up well at all in either scenario. Particle board, a little bit of steel from the frame, and lots of screws. That's it.
