I filmed some patrons clean up RV air conditioner on trailer roof top, they were clogged with cat hair. tee shirts , etc. mike-haduck-ma... Tools - www.amazon.com... web site - mikehaduck.com
I imagine you could spray Fluid Film in those caps, it’s a lanolin based spray that vehicle owners apply to the underside of them to keep corrosion at bay. Mike always finds something interesting to post up.
Thanks Mike! I found putting lubricant in wire nuts interesting and probably will be helpful in other applications on automotive and servicing my air conditioner! Thank you!
Good of you to do a favor for that person. I've seen those coils all gummed up because the people were smokers. The tar just made everything passing through stick to it. Very jealous of all that warmth and sunshine I must admit.
It’s a shame there’s no membrane that can be fitted under the unit to block water from going into the camper so the fins could be blasted out with water. Maybe some kind of setup inside to catch any water that comes in? Like a tarp that tapers down into a tube that directs the water into a bucket?
