Simple ways to keep your toilet smell free!! Many people think that the only way not to have sewer smells in an RV is to not use the toilet. USE IT, you can keep the small down easily!! #vanlife #rvlife #buslife
I have seriously thought about a composting toilet. Again I don't get the smell in the tank or even in the hose when I had an RV with a tank that had to be dumped by a hose. My issue with a composting toilet is they don't work in freezing weather. If I kept my van warm all the time, IE - if I lived in it with the heat on all winter, I would probably go that way. I've heard a lot of positive things about composting toilets.
@@whiteturtleadventuresandphoto I’ve been using. Composting toilet for quite a while. If it gets below freezing inside your van, true it might freeze. If you dump the pee every day it shouldn’t be a problem. Plus it is only the size of a toilet. You pull out the plastic poop bag every few days and throw it in a garbage can.
@@kenhoyer8601 I consider a composting toilet one that you use coconut or saw dust in the toilet to allow the waste to breakdown. If this one freezes it is more of a problem then the one you describe.
