We are traveling in a one of a kind Coleman 17B. The 17B is the lowest priced RV in the market for its size. I tend to think of the 17B as a starter kit that owners can personalize to fit their own needs and tastes. Virtually every one is a “one of a kind” project. Is a water filter necessary if you’re not drinking the city water?

That is a great question. We don't drink the local water either. A case of bottled water is too cheap and easy to worry about the filter. We make our coffee and tea with bottled water. We often don;t worry about putting on the filter. Every once in a while we get a feeling and put on the filter. Some people absolutely will never think about not having a filter. I agree with you. Why do it if we aren't drinking the local water? If someone out there disagrees with me, tell us why!
