Auden is a great kid with an awesome personality. I see no problem with him getting breaks because of his dad’s name. If I had achieved the level of fame Devon has you better believe I’m going to elevate my children as well…

I don't think RVJ is giving Auden enough credit, he talks as though Auden is Bronny James who sucks and is riding off Lebron's name. Auden is putting in the work and is quickly becoming a legit force in his division.

So Auden shouldnt pursue a passion because his dad did successfully did it first? Auden is clearly invested and putting in work. If you look back at history the children of sports stars are more criticized and have it tougher than others. Auden trains hard…. Kid takes the sport very seriously and he’s on the right path. I think he smokes this kid with ease… shouldn’t even be a debate

I like RVJ a lot but east vs west should also be about getting eyes to the sport, and getting new people to tune in. schoolboy(brother) have one million subcribers... more people know of devon larrat then anyone else in the sport.. so getting his son( that is an dedicated armwrestler) I se nothing wrong with that.

Just to second RVJ’s point. (And this is coming from a mechanical/Aero engineer, so take that for what it’s worth) And anyone with even the slightest knowledge of classical Newtonian mechanics will already know this, so apologies ahead of time for sounding pedantic… But, when used correctly. There is a physics backed modality where having a shorter arm can be ADVANTAGEOUS against a longer arm. A longer arm creates a longer lever and therefore a higher torque moment at the elbow and shoulder joint. It’s the classic example of using a longer wrench or a breaker bar to increase the amount of applied torque to break free an oxidized/seized nut. IF you are able to properly use the mechanical advantage, under equal application of linear force, the amount of rotational force generated at the joint would be higher on the longer lever (longer arm). The flip side is, the longer lever can be used to take advantage of the same exact mechanics, just applied differently. With a longer arm, you can climb and post higher than a shorter arm, and therefore extend the leverage on the shorter armed individual to apply an event greater amount of torque moment than one would be able to with a shorter arm. Very advantageous for that posting top roll style of AW.
