Our once in a lifetime dream came true in Rwanda when we trekked to find the mountain gorillas at Volcanoes National Park. You cannot imagine what a thrill it is to be right next to a mountain gorilla and see them just completely relaxed in their environment while we are right there next to these gorillas.
At no time did we see gorillas fighting or threatening us, they were curious and calm, playing, eating and relaxing. Seeing these gorillas in the wild was definitely one of the most incredible experience in our lives. It's well worth visiting Rwanda, not only to see these mountain gorillas, but to experience the beauty of this amazing country.
