Rwanda gives christians and muslims same respect despite being Christian majority nation, it is official public holidays on both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Muslims have earned respect in Rwanda because they did not participate in genocide in 1994 while christians even allowed the killings to go in churches especially in catholic churches where many have been turned into genocide memorial because of thousands who died there but no one died in any mosque, people who went to seek refuge in the mosque were protected by Muslims even those from the same group of the killers.

Rwanda 🇷🇼 is a beautiful country

Rwanda and Burundi have the same tradition and value. Actually we used to be one country and we speak the same language except the Rwandese kinda have an accent. The previous president of my country had banned man and woman from living together before marriage. He had said if a boy and girl gets caught living together before marriage, they would face consequences. The previous president had also banned BBC news from our country. but I think they got their license back with this new president😒. Anyways, back in 2017 the then president made a statement: Unmarried couples have until the end of the year to legalise their relationships, the Burundi government said, as part of an effort to reform morals in the country. Nkurunziza(the previous president) said Burundians should show their love for each other -- and their country -- by getting married. The government has since been pressuring unwed couples across the country to tie the knot. I am a revert to Islam and I grew up Christian, we were not allowed to have boyfriend and my brothers were not allowed to have girlfriend. So am glad the previous president was bringing back our tradition of no "No premarital relationships".

These values are coming from a small percentage of people who happen to be the ones in charge(intentionally) this groub has the louder voice, they make the rules and judge you using them.

I like this president. I've seen few of his interviews. He stands firm and not afraid to say what is right and not to be dictated to way of thinking and what to say by the west. We need Muslim leaders to stand against this hypocrisey and say it how it is. Just like Qatar. Visit Qatar but don't bring your immoral acts and expect Muslim countries to except it just because it's normal in your country, Christian religion on the down hill due to immoral acts, accepting lgbt especially as priests etc.
