@@yhuangjack No. In RWBY, character's theme are song in their POV. "Red Like Roses" is speaking in Ruby's POV, "Mirror, Mirror", in Weiss', "I burn" In Yang's. These songs work like if the characters were singing. "All things must die" were playing during Raven's fight against Cinder, so what Raven sang was against Cinder! It was Cinder who was supposed to die, it was Cinder nobody will miss when she'll be gone, it was Cinder who had to pray for mercy. That doesn't speak about Raven's death!
It connects to Raven's literary allusion Poe's The Raven. In the poem the narrator is haunted by a Raven who reminds him of his grief. Much like Raven is haunted by her fear of death and Salem. The song reflects that fear - she must kill or die herself
