I feel so bad for the younger brother. He actually heeded the warnings of their parents and did not want to go in there, but the older sister, even after running out of the forest in fear after taking like 10 steps in there, pressured him to go in to and acted like there was nothing to be afraid of. She literally pushed him into going in there. =.(

The Chill (the type of Grimm encountered) do not really make hybrids out of their hosts, more so they possess them like the Nightmare from Ice Queendom. They act as a pathogen, spreading to various hosts.

Remaking a prediction I made at the end of V8. They return and it's been years since they fell, just to find everything has changed. I said then that time worked differently in the ever after, but the way the blacksmith said not where, when, tells me they are not in thier timeline. It's like a decade later.

What if this story about a child being possessed by a Grimm not only inspired by a humanoid Grimm (Salem) but Ozpin. What if the author of the story was in fact Poppy and her younger brother was one of Ozpin's previous hosts, Salem eventually discovered this and released chills upon the town, Poppy was the only survivor and this is how she interpreted the events.
