Can we all agree that Roman is one of the main reasons Volumes 1-3 have so much rewatchability? The fight scenes were great, and Roman's fights were some of the best. When it comes to dialogue, he is the unrivalled king, especially in his final speech. And to remain the best villain even after being dead for two and a half volumes is a legacy to behold.
Im gonna be honest this was the very first RWBY video I watched. I was completely blinded. When I reacted to this, I thought Torchwick was the good guy (Being the people he was fighting looked like enemies, Blake, The robots, and him being defeated a little bit in the video) But then I grew concern seeing him laugh like that and shoot fire with the others. So now I watched the RWBY series, and I completely understand everything! o:
Roman was the real leader and great criminal with class it was really entertaining to watch him even not doing anything his dialogs are amazing (Cinder just a villian that have powers not saying that she is bad she is just not that good like Roman) it was very impressive fight without sembelance vs Sun and Blake, sometimes thinking if RWBY didn't kill him would he turn a bad written character? Is it ok that he is died with good villian character? Idk I just love to watch him and this song is perfect kudos here👌🏻❤️❤️
Morgan Pinkston um Roman did a lot of things but I personally blame Cinder, she's the one who planned it all. to be fair Roman is responsible for the most deaths in the series and maybe I shouldn't like him but I don't see how he had really anything to do with ruining Arkos. Even without Roman I think what happened would still have happened.
Here's a plot twist for ya, the one that ruined Arkos, was Jaune!!!! He had one job, if he had kept watch like Ozpin told him, sure Pyrrah might have ended up different but she wouldn't be dust.
I was honestly pretty disappointed when Roman died. He never did anything to make you dislike him, and he was an overall coll character. Kinde of like in warriors how Firestar (spoilers) was killed by a tree, Roman was killed by a Giant bird, kinda lame in my opinion.
I agree and disagree. Roman did plenty of things to make you dislike him such as being discriminatory towards the fanus and just beating the shit out of Ruby with Neo. But I was also disappointed with his death cause it was kind of cheap, and even though he was the first villain no one beat him except Blake and that was arguably part of Cinder's plan.
+Timothy Davis That and the fact that he killed the most people on the show, with a sizable number of civilian and military personnel under his belt. But still, even that didn't make me want him to die, I think he's one of the best characters in the show and still has a ton of potential.
Nah, I think the kills he has under his belt is one of things that make him a good character, also he discrimination towards faunas DID kind of make you dislike him, I forgot about it pretty quick. And him beating up Ruby did make sense and didn't make me dislike him, it's just something the he would do, as the bad guy. Whisker!!! (=^_^=)
+Frozen Shadow Oh trust me, I'm not argueing. Roman is my favorite character in the show. I'm still not accepting that he's dead, he has so much potential left.
I loved roman. he is my second favourite villain in rwby. 1st being hazel. they are both more "human" than the rest with proper motives. survival and revenge.
Hazel more human? He joined forces with someone that wants to conquer the world because her sister died by the hands of grim. And SALEM makes them. What the f is even that? Hazel's motivations are just ridiculous. He's just like real terrorists that claim that "Americans are infidels and all of them deserve to die" while he tries to kill students himself. And Watts is another idiot with idiotic motives. He wasn't chosen by Ironwood so the baby cries and goes to team Salem to destroy the world. The only villains that make sense are Tyrian (cause he's a serial killer and wants everyone to die), Roman and Neo (who do crime to survive)
Considering that Roman, like Jaune, still hasn't found his semblence, he is a _really_ good fighter, able to hold his own against both Blake and Sun by himself... but what do you think his semblence would have been?
Roman is just so lovable because he's the classical, stylish, charismatic bad guy. He has no special powers, no semblance or other stuff, and guess what, he doesn't even need it!
i'm pretty sure he'll be back... why else would they make him "die" in such a cheap way? i mean, he's a tough nut to crack, so since he hasn't been bitten in half but swallowed in one piece, i'm sure he'll find i way to get out of there
I think it was both to show how much the stakes have grown since vol. 1, and also to show how cruel Cinder is; Roman was always expendable to her. He was just a dashing gangster who got caught up in stuff way over his head, and in the end his fortune and fantastic good looks just weren't enough to save him.
if Roman absolutely had to die, they should have at least made it a cooler death. not by some piece of shit that was defeted 2 seconds after it killed Roman. that just makes me so angry.
Alex96 ooooh how fitting for Roman! :D also I kinda like electro swing myself too. I thought it might be that but I wasn't sure, thanks for telling me.
If guys ever dressed like that or at least took pride in the style of their appearance and dressed in their own artistic or unique look, instead of cookie cutter hipster boringness, girls would spend less time fan-girling til their noses bleed over anime and guys would their choice of giggily, drooling love slaves. lmao 'Course, unlike Roman, being the hero/treating women well would be a plus too. LOL
What do you mean? Are you saying beating a 15 year old girl within an inch of her life isn't the right way to treat women? Damn it Roman! You've been doing it wrong all along!
