The Australia penalty at 6:28 was not a penalty. The law states that you are NOT a tackler unless you go to ground with the tackled player. Therefore McCaw is not obliged to release the player before jackling. And this is from an Englishman :p

Oh No yeah true, he missed 3 or 4 in this game. His kicking wasn't great in the tournament, he took 3 penalties in the final as well as a conversion and missed all of them.
