When Alex said "Baby" and "I'll break the sound barrier for you" and the way he said... my heart literally stopped. And also I was teary-eyed throughout this scene.
This scene is actually hit different for me because at least in most romance drama I watch, when the one half ask "are you ok?" The other half will usually answer "I'm perfectly fine" just to appear strong and have the 'I don’t want to make you worried' mentality. While, in fact, they were literally crumbling inside. Here Henry being completely honest and show his fragile self to Alex. It show that nothing is hidden in their relationship and they can appear as vulnerable as they trully are infront each other And that’s one thing that I really love about Alex and Henry relationship ❤
Alex's "baby" is the most sweetest genuinest thing ive ever heard in movie history. 🥰🥰 and Henry on the verge of tears hearing Alex's voice again . This whole scene!! This whole movie😭😭🥰🥰
Henry: Hello? (0:08) Alex: Baby... (0:09. Who is he? Ashanti?😉) Henry: Alex? Oh, my God. A-Are you all right? Alex: I'm hanging in there. Are you okay? Henry: No. No, I'm not okay. Alex: You know what? I'm coming to London tonight. Just hold on until I get there. We'll figure this out. Henry: Hurry. Please. (0:33) Alex: I'll break the sound barrier for you. (0:37) Sidebar: A piano version of an aria written in 1713 by Johann Sebastian Bach called "Sheep May Safely Graze."
So raw and pure conversation between the two. My favorite scene in the whole movie especially where they get to breathe again in each others loving embrace
Beautiful background music. I noticed it immediately, as a piece I recognized. Such an incredible scene, from start (on the phone) to finish ( on the stairs) 🥹🩵
I love Alex’s “you know what; I’m coming to London tonight.” Something about the way he says it makes it seem like he hadn’t completely decided to do it until he hears that Henry’s not okay. But when Henry tells him that, the only option is to fly over to be with him. And “I’ll break the sound barrier for you” - tears. It’s so beautiful.
When Alex says "You know what: I'm coming to London tonight." About the way he said it, I believe he was sobbing/crying because he heard Henry wasn't okay and he needed to be there with him.
This scene is one of the best of the movie. The "baby" breaks my heart. Taylor and Nick are acting so good also thus hug. Damn, I m straight but this love story touched me the most....
This scene is everything!!! From Alex’s voice saying “baby” and Henry’s reaction to Alex saying “I’ll break the sound barrier for you.” This scene alone killed me so many times I’m not sure how I’m still breathing! Not to mention the previous bit with Alex and Zahra. ❤❤❤❤
OMG We need the uncut version, behind the scenes, bloopers, interviews, photoshoots, audio book with their voices, Second and third movie and world tour pls 😭😭❤️🤍👑💙
The song that we hear Henry play when they meet on the stairs is Bach's "Schafe Konnen Sicher Weiden." It has often been arranged and performed as a duet for piano or guitar. I categorically demand that we have a sequel where we see Henry and Alex play the song together.
I thought that, too- the first time I saw the movie. The music here is everything, and that gorgeous piece on the piano ( we are all discussing) totally elevates the mood and the scene to another level… so beautiful ♥️🤍🩵
@@bab37ful Honestly, both. :) My post above, was about when Alex makes the sound barrier comment - yes… but, when you hear him also say “Baby,” to Henry on the phone, and you see Henry’s forlorn and heartsick face, suddenly perk up and get instantly brighter… well, that’s just the sweetest thing ever, too. 🥹😭🩵
@@jacquelyndavis4950 Henry was shook when Alex called him “Baby”. And the way Henry ran down stairs to hug Alex like a kid on Christmas Day. Alex done went from Ashanti (“Baby”) to Liam Neeson (“I’ll break the sound barrier for you”).😉
@@bab37ful Right, 😀he really was. It was a really special moment. I agree, about Henry’s reactions. 🥹🎄 I think we all wish, a little bit, that someone in our lives would react to us/ or run to hug us that way, right!? 🩵 I know I do…. Or perhaps, I need to be the one who does this first- and give my loved one a chance to respond in kind 🥰
So not what this scene is about but anyone else think that Shaan cares for Henry so much that all Zahara would've had to say is "give the phone to Henry." LOL. Still love it (movie and book), just an observation. This scene touches and breaks my heart. It's just so good. Love it
My favourite part was when henry said "hurry", which shows he desperately need alex at that moment. Oh god how I love to see very fragile henry to be in the arms of alex.
Why doesn’t anyone ever talk abt this 😩😩😩 the emotions I would’ve met out if Alex called me “baby” like that and all that was happening I would’ve fallen out tears everywhere
A piano version of an aria written in 1713 by Johann Sebastian Bach called, "Sheep May Safely Graze." I've never heard it used better!!! Perfect for the scene!!
I’m like, “Who is he? Ashanti?” (LOL) The movie should’ve had Alex and Henry FaceTiming each other or a split screen. I wanna see Alex saying “Baby” to Henry with a relieved smile on his face… Henry is Alex’s baby. The way he run down the steps to hug Alex like a kid on Christmas Day. ♥️
Oop! That part! Alex should've gotten Olivia Pope and Huck on speed dial. They would shut that shit down QUICK! (Taylor did appear on Scandal's final season -- S7.E11)
It's probably an oblique reference to the Concorde, the first supersonic jet to fly commercially between New York and London, doing so in under three hours. It travelled at slightly more than twice the speed of sound.
Thank you for the scene and I enjoyed the movie and book. However, Prince Henry may be nice looking but he appears to be weak from a mental standpoint and Alex did the heavy lifting. If Amazon goes all in on another movie I hope he has a spine of steel.
You’re welcome. I haven’t read the book, but I will when I had the time. And Henry is Alex’s “baby”. (Just like Ashanti says in the intro of “Baby”. 😉)
How do you make these video/clips. Is there a website or something. Do you download the episode then cut out the clips you want to post? I want to do the same for this film and many other but dont know how.🩵🔥
