It's interesting. Thanks for this rather rapid run-through, as those of us familiar with the Commemorative deck just need to see what might be the differences between that deck and this one. I like it that they kept the imagery but intensified the colors, so may be more readily accepted by modern sensibilities. Also, when posting online, these colors will show up better than those in the Commemorative deck -- yet, Lo Scarabeo kept it tasteful, not going overboard with pumping up the saturation level. I like what I see here, and will definitely consider this as my next deck purchase. Thanks again!
Yes, I didn't want to take too long with this as it is the RWS, most everyone knows it! You just want to see the colours and cardstock quality, without me waffling about what the images mean :D
Not really reversible is it?....5 point star ose in the middle is tip up? Can't really tell your hands are so quick lol. Beautiful deck and great review, love the cut read ending btw. Nice touch!
You're right, Suzanne, there is that 5 point star/rose in the middle *headslap* Well, it's not glaringly in-your-face, but it is there. Glad you liked the review and reading in any case :)
Does anybody know where to find this deck? Exactly in this cloudy colouring? I love it! There is no longer such a product in the publisher's store. I know There is another version of this deck. But it's pale and People faces and bodies are in red dots there. I don't like it.
There are versions of the Lo Scarabeo RWS deck on Amazon. There are two versions. I believe a 2012 and a repainted 2016 printed deck from Lo Scarabeo. From the imagery, the 2016 version is a better repainting using more shades and less 'speckly'.
This is going to sound strange and I will explain... You have what my great gran would call “knowing hands” or knowledgeable hands and she had them as well. She grew up in the Deep South. It meant you were a healer or knowledgeable in ways must others were not. It was a positive attribute. She has long since left this earth, I’m glad I watched your video and was able to remember her again for a few moments ❤️🌈🙏🏻
Umm chloe 😅 the link u provided opens up for the deck which is *not like urs, which u shown in ur video* they are not like this dramatically coloured one... *urs cards are like Radiant wise spirit colors* but good thing tht it has numbers written on top and hve borders unlike the radiant wise spirit deck. This has long been on my wishlist, but I couldn't find this *exact* one Please help finding it 🙏🙏🙏 like P-L-E-A-S-E. I want this Radiant coloured look
Well, this is lovely. I like the bold black lines, the backs and the colours I'm seeing. I guess this may be the only deck I buy in 2017. But I'm sure I'll come to my senses before I actually clickety click. :)
Sounds like you were ambivalent about this edition. If you are every willing, I would love to buy this deck from you! Hard to find now. Thanks for the walk through Cloe. Anne
Hi Anne, I'm afraid I adore this edition. Though the colours are a bit muddy compared to my beloved Radiant, the fact that Lo Scarabeo are happy for people to blog with their decks is a huge boon when looking at a RWS deck! I've been using it a lot, for that reason :D
Rumor has it that LS is going to reissue the colorful deck in 2019. So I can wait for that. BTW, thank you for your kind response as it was sort of in poor taste for me to ask. Warm regards, Anne
Yes, sounds like the reissue is coming. I'm glad, as it really is a good deck. And not to worry, you're not the first to ask if I'd be willing to sell a deck. Lots of people do, but I'll admit to being a bit of a hoarder :D Warm wishes, Chloë
