XESS 1.3 is really good now, pretty comparable to DLSS unless you’re really searching for differences. But FSR 3.1 should be promising as well

DLSS is Deep Learning Super Sample, in other words, it uses RT Cores as AI Cores to Render the Picture > Outcome is that every Picture looks marvelous compared to the native picture, it's sharper, cleaner and more clear, while actually downscaling first and "filling" the holes with Sampling. While all this already sounds insane, it gives a performance uplift as well, while FSR tries to resamble the Original Imagine... which we all know isn't always the case and most of the time more blury as well. Once FSR is like DLSS it is the go to tech for sure.

honestly, the 4070 ti was still a decent deal, until the 7900 GRE came out and made it look like shit for its price

@@auritro3903 depending on use case still is, raster still faster, better tool set, software, rt, etc. Tho the GRE is the best deal amd has with their current lineup, if you don't care or need the better offerings from nvidia software, the GRE makes the XT and XTX pointless with how much cheaper it is.

If gaming is all you? Sure... but for RT and creative work load almost any Nvidia card is a no brainer

Absolutely, in my humble opinion, RT is not worth it for gaming nowadays anyway, without RT RX 7900 GRE is absolutely a good deal for 1440P, I won't mind playing games on FSR Quality to play perfectly 60fps

yeah, in my country 7900 gre cost 550$ and 4070 Ti Super - 850$, difference 300$, this is too much.

I would say Nvidia Broadcast is the biggest dealbreaker here. Amd has Noise suppression too, just found it on google, but you need a Ryzen 5000 & RX 6000 to get it, what shame, because Nvidia only needs a 10 Series Card or higher.

I have both cards and the super rarely beats the gre, I find most of the benchmarks people do on RU-vid mostly b.s.

Same dude, I use a Rx 6600 for my living room gaming rig. But have to use a 4090 becuase I work on LLMs. Just wish the Zluda mod was still ongoing. Cause I rather pay $950 for an RX 7900 xtx than $1800, just to have 24gb. The other would be a Mac Studio but that's also out of the budget.

7900 GRE benefits hugely from memory OC, gddr6 in general overclocks very well. Core clock not so much, it‘s already running pretty high, but a few % should still easily be possible. 4070s overclock even better, unlike the other 40 series cards which commonly become unstable around +150MHz, they stay stable up to 300MHz above factory boost clock. They can also take up to +2000MHz on the memory, although the error correction of gddr6x will lead to diminishing returns. All in all, both of these cards overclock exceptionally well.

@@traelkel8789 The GRE stock clocks are 2250MHz on core, the one in the video hovers around 2500-2600mhz, so stock it ain't, it comes out of the box with OC. Memory clocks are the ones you can move to increase performance, depending on how some games respond to the extra bandwidth, but it comes with "low" memory clocks because the memory it uses can get unstable very easily since they are not so good, slow modules. And again, at that, you can also OC the 70ti Super too, apples to apples, with OC the 70tIS will remain faster.

Hopefully AMD actually does good with fsr 3.1 and makes it close or basically the same as dlss so people can have dlss on any kind of gpu. But at the same time the 7900 gre has unmatched value except with the 7800 xt.

@@pontiac797 If it works well in the games you play, then upgrading is pointless. The 3060ti is still a great card for 1080p and some 1440p titles. But the 8GBs of VRAM will be the limiting factor here soon.

Yes but new games dont even have RT and those which have usually suck like Alan wake or Avatar, no one plays those games only few weeks after relise.. No RT in Helldivers, new Horizon or GoT. No RT even in Hellblade 2 which is by many best looking game.. RT is irrelevant at this point and it will be until RT capable GPUs come for normal prices.. GPUs these days cant even run UE5 without upscaling...

@@Aurora1869 not modern, but new games. In this year there is bunch of new good games without RT. Turning on RT on Hogwarts is not worth it and CP2077 is ancient and it will be stop supported soon. RDR2 has RT only with mod and it runs like crap.

Only if SAM is enabled and you can get an almost identical result using ReBar on Nvidia cards, so it wont make a difference if you are using intel CPU or AMD CPU
