I made this video to help those who already own a rotary car or for those who want to own a rotary car. These are just a few tips on rotary ownership but there are many more. I hope to educate my viewers so they can go out there purchase a rotary car and enjoy it instead of spending most there time fixing it.

Pushing the engine into the ketchup is very important. The rotary engine basically needs to be treated like a race engine every once in a while to keep it healthy

and may i mention how angry it makes me when someone immediately assumes a rotary engine is this unreliable hunk of dog doo doo. Yet nobody knows how to maintain them properly because they are so much more Demanding than other engines I call it the engine you need to treat like a pet You gotta keep it well fed/ take it to the bathroom/ and give it juice to live/ do that and the engine will love you like a dog.

I totally agree with you Lucas. I get tired of hearing the same song and dance about rotaries. Most of the time it is from individuals that have never owned one and go by rumors.

I think you forgot one on stock engines do not start it then shut it off without a good warmup!

Yes, you are absolutely correct. It is always a great practice to get the engine to operating temperatures before turning off. Failure of doing this can lead to your engine being flooded or eventually fouling plugs. I will be making another video soon with more do not do items.

for the longest time i thought E85 is the best for rotaries considering what Rob Dahm has taught me.

E85 in my opinion is the best fuel for rotaries. I run 93 because it is always available and I drive my car long distances at times.

E85 is very good for rotarys when racing or when driving your a lot, if you let e85 sit in your rotary it will mess it up very bad

Yes. I recommend you drive your car at least ince a month if you are on E85. E85 keeps the engine temps remain lower there for helping overall performance and engine life.
