Judgements aside - Mr. Bell remembers very little detail of anything that he deems detrimental to him, but a *great deal* of information/history that he feels will bolster his claims against Mr. Lin without incriminating himself. Example: When asked if more people would have viewed "The Video" if he hadn't taken it down, he has no idea....can't speculate as to future website traffic. When asked how he came up with an estimated loss of anticipated ticket sales, he knows how to make an informed estimate using historical and contextual data. That's not how general memory works.
When will people learn, social media is not your friend. One should never record themselves on a recording device even if it is supposed to be a private video because, these days, nothing we do is private anymore.
People who chose to make themselves vulnerable to acts of defamation, by voluntarily posting comments without the protection of anonymity, have nobody but themselves to blame for the consequences that ensue. This generation of snowflakes have taken victimhood from a concept to a lifestyle.
I haven't watched this entire video yet but,, after reading these comments, I understand. I agree with you 100%!! I don't know why it's so difficult for people to understand that if publicly share their videos, pictures, and comments on the worldwide web, 🌐 it's no longer "private" Everyone is different so of course, people will have different opinions. If they can't handle criticism or opposition, perhaps they shouldn't post their activities, thoughts and opinions online.
People who use our court system and tax paying dollars for such pettiness need to be minimally institutionalized in a room with four rubber walls. Mr. Lin, you’re mad that this guy called out the fact that you’ve been involuntary committed to the loony bin, your incessant trolling and harassment (all by your own admission)..now please for all our sakes get some real help Mr. Lin and stop throwing a temper tantrum like a 2 year old.
@@mikelinsf I haven't heard the whole thing yet but I'll let you know what time it is after I get through it. My personal opinion at the moment is lets not be an online drama queen and then when shit gets real and rubs you the wrong way you want to use the courts time. You better have lost money or have been physically assaulted to be taking it this far. That's what I think for now anyways. I'll be back when I'm done. 🤣🤣🤣
You can watch the original defaming video which destroyed my reputation amongst the Periscope community: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wTQFdwmAyW0.html
I was thinking the same thing. Everytime a rough question comes up the lawyer pipes in "Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiffffff you remember" Oldest trick in the book lol
@@InjuriousPersonalities not during a deposition though. They can only make the two basic objections. I think it's form and hearsay. But the plaintiff's lawyer allowed himself to be bullied so you're right, it was effective.
Charlie Swango well, in a deposition the proper objections are to form and to foundation. Hearsay is reserved for the trial portion. But those are like guidelines, not rules. Under the rules of evidence, the only criteria a judge looks for in a deposition is truth vs untruth.
@@InjuriousPersonalities ah okay thanks. It seems like such a sham sometimes. This Bell guy just said "I don't recall" everytime he didn't want to incriminate himself. it's just a strange dance.
