I want to give a shout out to the performance of the audience in this video. There are so many enchanting live recordings on RU-vid that are butchered by audience participation. On this masterpiece of a performance I can't here anything from the crowd but appropriate applause and it's beautiful.
I actually watched this on RTé Two when it was first aired. And it was stuck in my head for years untill i finally got the album. and i have to say this live version is far better than the album version. I love you Ryan,
Another spectacular live performance. Neal's voice compliments Ryan's so nicely on the harmony. And Ryan's voice is amazing, as always! I love this slowed down rendition!
I feel so privileged that I get to see Ryan perform tonight in Cork. I can hardly wait. The fact that it's an acoustic performance just adds to it. Wow, I actually feel so lucky, roll on 7:30. :)

the best thing neal ever did was team up with Ryan, Neal's a great musician but never really had the songs, that's where Ryan slots in perfectly. they're something else. and personally i love the fact they arn't huge artists. it means tickets to see live performances like this 1 are still easy to get hold of. i wouldn't wanna miss a second!
ryan adams is playing an acoustic gig in the cork opera house on 7th june! got my tickets the other day, by god i hope he plays this what a class song!!
@toodrunktodream i actually think the sound quality is pretty decent. thanks for sharing this video. i love how different his songs are when he plays them stripped down and acoustic.
@theamsterdamlover ahh jeeze im really excited. i swear ive got as many ryan adams songs as physically able to get included all ep's and such. ive got an acoustic firecracker song it really is amazing. doing his songs in acoustic gives it a new light. he should record all his stuff again acoustic! yeah im very familiar with Jesse Malin, a very talented guy! ive listened to most but only got the album: The Fine Art Of Self Destruction which is his best. i swear im counting down the hours! thanks

I love how Neal either forgets the setlist or doesn't know what Ryan is playing until the first go around. They're both so good, they just fall in step, it doesn't matter. I would love to hear a good bluegrass band cover this tune. It just has that sort of theme.
@razmataz13drums Hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Was the best concert I've been to and THE most special night. Ryan talked to the crowd with ease, making the night even more brilliant! His acoustic performance of Firecracker is a rare treat, and he did an amazing four song long encore. His supporting act Jesse Malin was great too, and a very very funny guy, look him up before the concert if you can at all :)

There are only five basic chords (the intricacies are obviously impossible to explain in a comments section). Capo 5th fret, and from there it's all Am, G, C, F, and a couple D chords
