Can’t believe so many ppl playing stupid about drug testing. These aren’t rapid same day tests. If they test you the day of the fight ,which they should, the results are gonna come a week later. And before someone say something stupid like why not just do rapid only, rapid tests have a higher chance of giving inaccurate results

Big fights are investments that take months to create With multiple millions to be earned by not only fighters but all the businesses connected to that fight (travel, gambling, box office), So, there's a fine line between fairness and commerce that in this case ended up getting crossed..

Test take 2-3 weeks to come back. They didn’t find it before the fight. They took the blood/urine before the fight. 😂😂😂 people fighting to prove Ryan Isn’t a cheat when he literally just got caught cheating. Whether he knew or not he gained an advantage. No it doesn't take that long. Who told u that? It hasn't even been 2 to 3 weeks since the fight. U can go get a drug test for a job and get the results the same day. U don't think with all that money on the line and the technology that we have now that they can't get test results in the same day. They tested Myles Garrett for ped's after an 8:00 game and got the results back the next morning. Even if u take steroids u want benefit from it the same day. That why doctors prescribe a Whole bottle of it to take every day to build strength over time so he would have to be taking them days prior

It's more irresponsible for you to pretend that Garcia is clean. The test are far more reliable than Garcia that's for damn sure. This the same guy that came in weighing 3 pounds over weight when he said he'd make 140. He's not a cheater because of that, but he is dirty for it. It shows the type of person he is. I'm more inclined to believe he cheated. On top of that, he was smoking and drinking before the fight. We all thought it was a game, but many fighters try to mask the drugs they're doing with things like weed and other harmless pills so that they have an out. Every time someone gets popped for weed or cocaine, there's usually something more sinister at play than just that.

Bruh. This isn’t that complicated. The results don’t come back for weeks after the test. If they don’t test at all before or after the fight, fighters would get away with cheating regularly. This way the fighter can be punished, fined and possibly lose his victory. If they get popped again, the consequences are steeper and they could possibly get banned for repeat offenses.

You test a person before the fight to confirm it after the fight test too. Unfortunately tests are not as fast which is why it takes time. Garcia tested positive on BOTH tests. The one before and after!

The test are taken a day before and immediately after the fight and the results are not immediate. It’s unrealistic to test these guys everyday leading up to the fight. All of the prior test are random.

Good Mornin Y'all *Ostarine* is actually use for recovery and use for somewhat weight loss (which isn't very good bu the way it doesn't work) It doesn't give u energy or new muscles or it's jus there for recovery over ya joints. It’s not like a pregnancy test that only takes minutes. Breakfast Club should just stick to hip hip gossip stories.

He didn’t test positive before the fight. He was tested before the fight on the 19th & after on the 20th. The test aren’t instant. For Ex: Frank Martin vs Rivera, weeks after the fight was over. It takes time

For the people who don't know anything about boxing like Envy and Charlamange, it takes 72 hours for the results to come back. And they are not testing for just weed or coke. They are testing for different kinds of PEDs that don't matter in the workplace but they do matter in professional sports. That's why Ryan was able to fight. Plus, this is the first time Ryan fought with VADA testing. It's the most accurate testing in sports. It's very expensive to conduct so that's why not all fights do this kind of testing. This was supposed to be a championship fight and that's why they had the more accurate testing.

The only consequence is a fine or suspension by the commission if they feel like it. The results don’t impact the fight at all because they don’t wanna lose money. So it’s basically irrelevant.
