I’m gonna be honest. I’ve seen a lot of distance racing and Trayhan pulled way to hard at the end to have been working the whole time, he’s also not as exhausted as you’d typically be at the end, most people end up on the ground. Looking at that pull and considering his past, I’m gonna guess that he wasn’t exactly running for a record there.
I can’t believe Ryan Garcia didn’t have the condition to run the mile and taking first place if he does so much cardio ?? He’s a good boxer I was really expecting that last lap push !!😠
different kind of cardio, he probably focuses alot more on jumping rope, boxing drills and sprints of 100m or so..He likely does road work for distance but thats like 5 mile slow pace which doesnt really help in running a mile fast.
Technically “head 2 head race” could be for any place. I misled myself as well by not paying very close attention to clickbait-esque titles such as this and thinking they were competing for first. 🤷🏻♂️
I love how nobody would even mention Ryan Trahan, while every runner on here immediately knew who was going to win once they saw his name on the list mahahah
Exactly trahan is hella fast 😂 i didnt know he was in this race because of the title but once i heard the commentator mention trahan I immediately knew how tf is he gonna lose to these fools 😂
@@ethan2123 Trahan wasn't trying. From being able to run a 4:15 in HS, a 5-minute mile is easy and takes no effort. If he was trying, then he would be ahead of the pack at a much faster pace. There would be a big gap during the entire race and that wouldn't be much fun.
Nah he wouldn’t have won. Trahan was following his pace, he could’ve gone faster the entire time but he wanted to pass him at the last minute so Garcia wouldn’t have a chance to react. If Garcia ran faster, Trahan would’ve ran faster too. You can tell Trahan wanted to pass him and run faster the entire time but he was being strategic. He was there to win, not to run his best time.
Why the heck is Ryan Garcia running in the second lane the whole time?? Dude did an extra 100-200m probably added 40 seconds to his time Black hair girl is annoying af also
Иван Нгуен it isn’t sexist that they should be separated into different events, it’s facts that girls physically can’t run as fast as boys look at men’s records compared to women’s records
love how the whole time the commentators were going on about how talented ryan garcia was and how he was waiting till the end to show his skills then ryan trahan comes through and smashes the competition. it wasn't even a close race xD
She was pissing me off! as a old track runner she was a hindrance to the people who was actually running. She was in the way and could've caused a accident.
Boxers generally have to jog very long miles on a daily right so I imagine covering the distance is no trouble for Ryan. Speed is another matter though
The first minutes of dialogue are gold "does he not know he can change lanes" "these are youtubers and Intagramers" "Summer Raye is down" "Summer Raye is doing cartwheels now" perfection
I ran the 1600m in high school and 5 min is respectable for a freshman or sophomore but any senior track runner would smoke 5 mins and most colleges won’t even consider you unless you’re sub 4:30, and for the good schools you better be close to 4 min
Pretty strong finish from Ryan for starting out with a 65 first lap. I'm no professional but I ran a 4:30 in high school and 65 is probably faster than most first laps I ever run. If he started in about 75 he would have easily broken 5.
