I think Ryan planned to use the last trick to switch the joker for whatever card the dude said LOL. But homie said joker so it made it 100x better. That’s prob why he wanted to perform the extra trick at the end which was the initial trick 😂
I think so too. One time they were "reading my mind" and he guessed the card straight away. That was not the trick yet it amazed everyone so much that they thought I was a stoodage!
Cou be true. The only thing thats really suspicious about that, is that he actually chose this "random" person himself. I'm not saying, he was using a stooge, since I don't know, but its a possibility and makes the effect less impactfull.
@@Ryan_Hayashi You are just something else man. Couldn't stop laughing. Asians really do take everything to the next level... except football/soccer haha I can still beat you guys at that :)
The best part about this is that I guarantee you that the joker was supposed to be the original "Okay I'll just change this into your card" but the guy walked RIGHT into it LOL. I can't imagine holding in the smile if I'm Ryan and I know the guy just played himself.
Yeah, of course -- but its deeper than that. He could have played it that way, if necessary. But in reality most people will say joker. When Ryan says "Nobody ever says that" -- it was sarcasm. lol. Most people try to catch out magicians by going with something "off-script" like that which means you simply go with the joker in the box to make it "on-script". Its super impressive if they "walk into" the plan. But if not, Ryan has the chops to deftly "change" the card to whatever is required.
I have been following Mr Hayashi ever since he was on Penn and Teller and he is by far my favorite magician. Absolutely genius and flawless technique. Definitely has the ability to be one of the best in the world, if not already. Not to mention the brilliant patter! Thank you for sharing your craft with us!
How did you hold in your reaction when he said the Joker? LOL dang. that is a once in like every ten years type of thing... Gotta relish those moments.
@@jean-pierrecoffe6666 I think this is the kinda 1/54 chance to succeed, if not, he locates the card and changes it just like the last Ace. Maybe he wouldn't have done it a fourth time if it hadn't work with the joker.
A fellow magician here just admiring both your super skills AND your slick style brother - first class! And that 'clever guy' who picked theJoker.... what a sweeeet moment for us all!
Look at the psychological damage series episode 11. He performs the same trick for another audience. You might enjoy the fact that a joker was chosen even more after watching that.
Ended up hurting noone because you already lost those 2 cards in the deck. Your audience doesn't realized though but at this angle, you flashed alot. Also the guy who called joker is a stooge?
Ryan is such a good performer. The level of engagement & rapport is so good. The audience will remember him than the magic, that’s how it’s done! Great job Ryan
This is my absolute favorite magic video on youtube, which is really hard to choose because Ryan has so many......... lol but seriously, this version of the trick and the Ultimate Everywhere Assembly are my favorite routines I've ever seen, I can watch it for hours, and this particular video is my favorite because of the perfect ending with the guy choosing the joker and Ryan using it so quickly and perfectly 😂 Like yeah, it wasn't in the deck, I just made it happen! Perfect 😂😍
And after watching so many videos I can recognize even the mid jokes and one liners and stuff, but they still land for me and he performs them so well!! It feels really natural and I wish I could experience it live one day
Actually, this was not a tough audience. This was a great audience. You just can't hear a lot of the audience reactions because the audio is taken from my microphone instead of the camera. It sounds like only a couple of people in the front row were quietly reacting, when in reality this performance tore the roof off the room.
Thanks. Glad you liked it. Audiences tell me I'm as fun to watch without the magic. I guess this is a good sign. Seems I am a fun personality who happens to be performing magic while talking to the audience. Ryan Hayashi
I love watching these videos from The Magic Castle...they are so awesome!!! Really wish they would work on the audio though...hard to hear sometimes and then it blows out your ears other times
So happy that I found this channel. I was blown away by Ryan’s act on Fool Us and had to see more. Im not a huge fan of magic but theres something amount his charisma and sense of humor mixed with incredible skill that makes it very entertaining.
That was another fantastic video. The commentary along with the card magic was awesome. Prime time news should be talking about you 24/7 for the next year. Truly great performance.
Joker trick was completely mental... and if it was some clumsy dude he would have mentioned any other card.. so even in magic there is risks.. I love Hayashi 😊😊😊
Wow im amazed by your performance! Im really new into card magic and honestly I actually some of the sleights but still even with that, this was total magic on a next level. Im hyped up to learn more
I watched it again. I have to agree with what I've heard others say, which is that your Story Telling talent is perfect. I notice that either typically the story telling in magic shows is take-it-or-leave-it or non-existent or tell stories without words, so for you to be so great at it, it really adds something great to your shows. I think it was either Edward Tudor or Penn&Teller or that other magician guy (sorry for forgetting his name at the moment) that did a reaction video to edwards reaction that you did a reaction with that said you do everything and kick ___ at it all. I am trying to say that if you were being graded on your shows, you would get all A+'s in every category. I feel forced to to say this because it deserves recognition.
those were 15 minutes?? It felt like 1 minute! I want to see more, what they say about asian people taking everything to the next level has been delivered in this video... the Ultimate magician!
