In this video, we look at why Ryan Hollins need to get fired. The clips in these videos are consisting of ryan hollins saying dumb stuff. People featured in this video: Ryan Hollins, Max Kellerman, Shaquille O' Neal, and more.
I’m not 7 feet first and foremost and I am a basketball fan with an opinion. Never said the man wasn’t successful and as a black man I love to see us be successful but that does not change the fact that a lot of his analytics about basketball sometimes don’t make sense. No need to have your panties in a bunch.
George Mckinley Okay then I don’t know why you would say you can’t take what he says seriously cause he had bad nba stats. Why would we take your option seriously since you have none?
He's not wrong what. TEAM SPORT he means fill LeBron shoes on the teams he's won with, not individual stats.. MJ not doing shit with LeBron teams. It's the same for LeBron and them (almost), they have roles within their teams to fill, they cannot run co-point like Bron and lead the team in every category + win the champions, they clearly not built like that. This ignorance and disrespect. Imagine Kobe trying to win with soft K Love and no defense ball hog Kyrie vs Warriors..
@Quentin Coberley LeBron was in East when it was strong as rookie, that's #1. East won the championship that year. #2 LeBron team won 5 more than 30 games and still missed the playoffs, (thats how shit MJ era was). #3 Carmelo was on a good team that season that overhauled the roster swear they had Nene, A Miller in his prime, Camby etc., all big names. Compare it to Cavs, LeBron team was shit you cant name any players from 03-04 season. But im used to this type uneducated emotional response w/ no facts, y'all do anything to discredit another man, MJ actually played in a shit waterd down era, thats nobody else fault. But instead of acknowledge the facts, you bring up Melo bs to try discredit LeBron lmfao. LeBron got rookie of the year he was way better in every category and was equal with Melo in Rebounds and PPG. What I said was a fact what you say is contrived cuz you that obsessed with hating another man. You clowns fanboying over nba players smh
@Quentin Coberley One of the "top defenses" that was mf 19TH in defense in 2004?? Cap ass N***a man, out here pretending to know bball lmao. I said MJ played in a watered down era in the 80s, how is that about "STOCKTON, MILLER" etc? The topic you started the shit with was "first 2 years", how you end up in the 90s? You are delusional asf 😂. Also MJ was 21 YEARS OLD AS ROOKIE, LeBron nearly won unanimous MVP 1 year, MJ had only 1 season in PER and efficiency like LeBron's, yet you talking about "MJ rookie year compares to any LeBron MVP season" nigga delusional and massive - -rider with 0 bball knowledge. Real heads would be looking at age since LBJ came out of HS. LEBRON NUMBERS AT 21 ARE WAY BETTER THAN MJ At 21, dispute that and not "rookie season" at age 19 fake ass MJ fan. Any real heads know you dont go by KOBE ROOKIE SEASON or LeBrons, they came in as kids. Say something logical w/o blind **riding.. All you doing is just projecting exactly what you doing on other people, thats riding nuts "bro". Stay yo lame ass on this thread you clearly are obsessed with this debate and LeBron. Melo "had almost exact stats" at 3 LESS AST per game, 0.6 less STLS & BLKS you exaggerating like a b** 😂, explain how thats 'exact same stats' 🤦🏽♂️ ? "Melo had Higher Ppg" it was literally 0.1 more PPG than LeBron LMFAO, thats identical like I already said "same PPG and RPG" yet let you tell it "Higher ppg, clearly was better". You are truly delusional as fuck, and obsessed witcho hatin ass. Every other sentence you exaggerate like I said, and it's only b/c you an emotional fanboy than can't handle facts. "Anyone who watches basketball" another cliche sentence out you, not 1 word I've said thus far wasn't 100% fact, you take shit off the rails, lie then try to discredit what I say with some cliche quote lmfaooo, you a rookie NBA fan revoke your bball talking cards. Bet you spent everyday arguing against other people over a man you never met, tragic.
Lavat Ball isn’t as ignorant you think he is. He’s actually a smart guy pretending to be stupid. That is contrasting to Ryan Hollins, who is being serious
I agree with the kd part. I think kd will come back a very strong player, just because nobody has ever done it, doesn't mean its not possible. Kd play style is not a super explosive play like westbrook. That shot will still be there which is will still make him a threat. The athleticism will not be the same. But mark my words. Kd will be great again
Hollins still sucks.. 4 point average for his NBA career. He shouldn't be an analyst that speaks from an NBA players perspective, unless he's talking about the bench
okay i understand hollins isnt the best guy might be the worst next to kendrick perkins, but what he was saying about kobe and mj couldnt fill his shoes is absolutely true when it comes to what lebron went through vs the warriors. no way kobe or mj is leading that 2018 cavs team to the finals let alone averages 34-12-10 vs the superpower warriors. oh and the 2017 finals i dont think mj or kobe on that team with kyrei can get them 1 game vs the warriors. how many teams did MJ face where he had the less talented team? the only reason MJ will always be the goat in peoples eyes because they wont let anyone else pass them and will always find ways to discredit guys coming for his throne.
Absolutely agree. MJ never made it to the Finals 9 times let alone how many consecutive times that Lebron did and he did it with teams of NOBODIES absolute bench warmers on any other team and yet nobody talks about anything but Finals wins. Here is a fact, MJ was favored in the Finals all 6 times. Here is another, he had a top 50 all time HOF player on his team, name me anyone on the Cavs pre-Kyrie that is in the HOF (not counting Shaq who was in his retirement years where he wasn't even starting). Oh and let's not forget the other HOF player he needed for the original Big 3 by getting Rodman for his last 3. MJ was great but not the GREATEST. The man had so much help its ridiculous. Oh and Lebron can do this thing called "passing the ball" I know those words are foreign to MJ. Lebron has better stats, more records, more Finals appearances, more clutch stats (contrary to popular belief, don't believe me look it up), and did it on his own for YEARS. That's all looking outside of the fact that the Warriors with Klay, Steph, Draymond, and KD is the most stacked team ever and that's not subjective, that's fact backed up by their record for most wins in a season and Lebron BEAT THEM. Case closed, fan boys stay mad
@@HMDPlays never said theyre nobodies, but in a league that has teams with MORE stacked rosters and superstar duos, the path becomes harder than anything MJ faced. those 2018 rockets that almost beat the warriors are better than any finals team MJ faced with two players on those rosters who were better than any player at the time mj played them in the finals. which includes Magic, kareem, clyde, barkley, gary payton, shawn kemp, karl malone and john stockton. james harden and chris paul when they played together were better than those players at the time MJ played them so dont come at me with "such and such in their primes were way better than such and such" not what i said. and then lets see lebron faces a prime kevin durant, a player whos talent mj has never faced before, prime stephen curry whos level of talent MJ has never played let alone beat, prime klay thompson as a third option pretty much playing a team with prime reggie miller as their THIRD option and then prime draymond green whos one of the most versatile defensive players of all time who could also run an offense. MJ couldnt do anything with any of his perfectly crafted bulls rosters against these warriors. and wade and bosh were washed by the 2014 run and in the 2013 run werent giving all that much but did make winning plays. oh and love? come on the warriors without durant made kevin love unplayable in certain stretches.
2 Problems with Ryan Hollins, 1st problem is, he was a scrub in the NBA. 2nd problem, he tries to hard to be too much like Stephen A Smith but, he doesn't use facts, he uses more of his personal feelings towards NBA stars (hate). Dude should be dropped down to the mail room.
I think what people fail to realize is that these “analysts”. Whether you like them or not are not paid to make statements everyone agrees with. You have to stand out and be controversial and say “stupid” things to be heard on a platform like this. People wouldn’t be tuning in to see Ryan, Shaq and Max to be like “yes you are correct and I agree with your point on LeBron.” People want to see people yell at each other, argue and be in a way comical.
How can you say someone will come back being better after a severe injury and being a year older.....KD is obviously a hall of famer and one of the greatest ever but him being BETTER after this injury is a stretch.
I actually agreed with Ryan on KD returning...they make it seem like KD was LeBron or Jordan athletically. He is a shooter that can score and he’s light on his feet, so I don’t think the injury will impact him as much as it did Demarcus Cousins
Hollis also forgets that on top of Jordan's DPOY, Rodman won it TWICE, and Pippen is arguably the greatest perimeter defender in history. Then with Harper and Kukoc, the Bulls would have been UNIQUELY equipped to shut down Golden State.
Total agreement with you and if you run MJ pippen harper kukoc and rodman against Curry klay draymond kd and iggy the bulls win in 5 or 6 but if we're playing like back in the day it's a sweep
I Don’t really hate the Bulls vs Warriors take, the KD Warriors were a top 5 squad ever, MJ/Pippen vs Steph/ KD is a slight bulls advantage but from there the Warriors are deeper.
No bench warmer should be an NBA analyst. The people on the The Starters have never played an NBA game and have zero professional experience, yet that are incredibly respected and good at what they do. Get this journeyman off of espn
It's so forced. I don't even have to watch the video. He'll say outrageous stuff so they can argue about it. Same format as with Stephen A Smith - just a different guy and name.
Every time he opens his mouth he gets embarrassed and he knows it because he’s not a journalist or an analyst. He’s a former player who on his best season averaged 6 points a game and convinced someone somewhere at ESPN that he deserved a job.
I like passionate people but you gotta be consistent! Skip loves Jordan, Sharpe loves Lebron, etc... but be consistent! It makes the argument better to watch. But his fact that the Bulls can't beat GSW but OKC can cos no one can stop Westbrook.... now you're just making noise! You gotta go!
