2023 - 2024 Season New York Rangers vs. Toronto Maple Leafs 3/2/2024 This is my second channel that will focus only on NHL content. My main channel is over here. / @trancexzero
Big and relies on his visor. Reaves still landed those rights. This kid is big but will learn the hard way he is no longer in the minors. Olivier taught him that in a big way.
First off Rempe better be on the playoff roster. 2nd we need another guy to step up and back the kid up. He's taking on all challengers and I think he deserves to see his teammates stick up for him a bit. I nice team fight would do. Preferably against the Bruins.
He would need more than one when facing Panthers tomorrow if he wants a longer (healthy) career in NHL. He needs to cool down to heal before he gets brain damaged by the end of this season
Haha he's got another big one coming, it's no coincidence the Devils just got Macdermid because he's good at hockey. March 11th vs the devils will be fireworks
I think Reaves is the last old school heavyweight in the NHL, and he came in somewhat late, not even a top tier heavyweight early on, or ever. This Rempe kid wouldnt last in the old days. I dont see him having a chance vs a Probert, Domi, Brashear, McGratton, Brown or McSorely... to name just a few. Not a chance.
It's because the game is super physical. And tensions heat up because they have sticks and speed people get targeted and it eventually reaches a climax where people fight. After the fight it settles it. Fight always stops when guys fall to the ice.
Hockey physicality matters for protecting the puck and stealing the puck. And puck battles . People even deliberately body block slap shots. Sometimes guys fight to protect the team or team mates. Fights get banned hockey dies. I don't watch for fights could careless if no fights happen but they need to be allowed if the two consenting combatants vote it.
As someone who grew up watching hockey, this is amazing 🙂 but now imagine showing this great sport to someone who's never seen it and you don't give any heads-up, and then this happens 😂 I don't think there are any other team sports in which you can fight it out?
Is it normal for the refs to just let them get it on for a while before pulling them apart. It is almost like they expect it so let them have their fun and it is considered finished with.
The purple is from the last six fights he had within two weeks… this kid is a rookie and has been taking on all the heavy hitters in the league. Look him up. 6’7 240lbs. The bruising was already there.
@@CaptainHammerFists I stood next to him at a cafe. As usual in most sports, heights and weights are exaggerated. More like 6’5”, and maybe 215, 216. Pretty skinny arms and shoulders.
Draw here ❤ Reaves face is open with no visor taking 6 left jabs and some rights clean. Rempe is wearing a visor. Reaves punches look good, but not much impact through a visor. Great entertainment 👌
@Cam-cc7xg Do your research before making delusional comments. Rempe was already Bruised up from fighting Mathieu Olivier. Rempe got more Bruises fighting Nicolas Deslauriers. This fight with Reaves was the easiest challenge for Rempe. DRAW. Keep quiet and study more...
Reaves pretty much just showed up. Nothing impressive from Reaves here. Rempe the kid did good . I'd say a draw. DeLauriers and Olivier did better than Reaves. Rempe is definitely a tough cookie.
Rempe is the biggest p fighter in the nhl! The bum can’t fight but at least tries. I’ve fought wannabe tough guys tall like this at the bar and it’s beyond hilarious them thinking they can fight! You either have it or don’t! Key to knowing if someone can fight is if they look for one or instigate it like Rempe usually does! People that can really fight don’t look for it but can if needed! Stay humbled or be humbled
This is ridiculous. The kid doesn't need to fight/ be "challenged" every game. There was absolutely no reason for this. I love a good fight and solid open ice hits that blast guys off the puck, but this is absurd. I understand Reeves is only good at being a goon and fighting with the rare lucky point, but just because he's on the ice doesn't mean you need to fight the kid. Not a Rangers or Leafs fan either.
These fights are staged. Doesnt everyone know this? Nobody gets hurt. The players are trained for these fake encounters. Cannot believe people believe these garbage encounters are real!!!!
