+Saul Valles Thanks dude, sorry I didn't reply. been working on a cruise ship for 9 months ;) I'm even better now.. been making progress over the months/years
clearly you're new at skateboarding. i do like 5 back flips in my garage as a warm up but i don't think i've once landed a right turn. mullen also said it's his most difficult trick ever.
The kickflip board was kinda sketch I'll let it slide bc it was so quick of a set up.... But this is Ryan shecklers bitch ass so fuck em..... Can't hate on that backflip much tho....
Doctor: so how’d you break your arm? Ryan: well I was on a skateboard Doctor: okay Ryan: then I did a backflip off a vert Doctor: Ah, I see, well Rya- Ryan: then I took a big fall turning right Doctor: wait what
He's still shredding. He put out a part pretty recently where the last clip had him dropping in off an overpass with cars going both ways. It was gnarly.
He truly is a living legend of skateboarding. All the MTV hype sometimes makes you forget about how good his skating really was. I can not imagine the pressure he must have had at that time. Glad to see him still going strong!
I quit skateboarding everyday about 5 years ago so makes sense to me 🤣🤣🤣 going get one my set ups out and have a game of skate on my own in the garage 😂🤣
People talking about the kick turn but forgetting two things First of all, he probably was so stocked on landing that backflip that he didn't concentrate on where he was riding and second of all, there was a coping he most likely didn't see
Not even close to the best line ever lol maybe 10 or 15 years ago. And his bag of tricks in contests was never that big. It was always bs flip, cab flip, hardflip, back tail, back smith, kickflip, over and over and over. There are many far better contest skaters, but Sheckler has landed some HEAVY shit over the years for sure.
No no no no no no..... Not at all. The most bitch skateboarder of all time. The biggest liar of all skateboarders maybe....but definitely not no where near the best
@@johnmoyarbmg5845 name one "legendary trick? " Nah he was good when he was younger and attractive enough to get attention 😂 once he got a TV show it all went to shit.
@@cyclopsentertainment517 Bruh if you can't admit that Sheckler is pretty sick then I don't know what to say to you, and I'm not even a huge fan of him. On top of that he's very consistent and has great style.
i remember watching it in live in television and then i was waiting something really good and then finnaly ryan sheckler arrived after many skaterboarders, then i got something even better what i expected to see :D , that backflip is legendary
He probably fell because he was out of breath/too much adrenaline/was amazed that he landed it, lost focus. I dont see you comment warriors out there pulling backflips let alone participating in a skate comp. Sheckler is a fuckin beast, period.
@@fourteenants The footage doesn't really show it well, but the skater landed on a way different ramp. At first I too was like wtf is he saying. But there's a gap and smaller ramp a few feet to the side of the ramp he kickflips from. It makes sense to mention the transfer.
More impressive than the backflip is the consistency. He effortlessly lands everything. And this is coming from a guy who resents this kid because I grew up looking up to people like Hawk and Mullen.
I ran a skate club at a AAA gaming company in Irvine, CA and Ryan Sheckler (or his marketing team) invited us to skate at his personal indoor skatepark back in like 2012-13. It was a gutted out office building. Just looked like a normal typical workplace until you walked inside. Insane, multistoried halfpipes and this huge, huge vert wall. I skated a mini half pipe that overlooked the main skate area downstairs and it was mind blowing. He's a nice dude, too. Gave us each a gift bag and a signed board. Shout out to Ryan Sheckler!
