I'm thinking of going to this place on Thursday, very early before the crowds.Thanks for the tour. Regarding The Witcher, they filmed at Gordale Scar in Yorkshire. Couldn't believe it when I was watching the episode as I was only there a few days earlier.

Never been to Rydal cave before and given we have watched the first Season of The Whitcher, I must have a look up there soon, as the cave looked real impressive. I have been meaning to do Loughrigg Fell for a while now too, so a good opportunity to do both together, cheers Alan.

Thought you were going to fall I'm for a moment Paul off those stepping stones. We haven't seen the Witcher, will take a look. We were going to visit the cave last year but ran out of time.

Is it true the scam about parking there? There are loads of bad reviews on Google about how they charge you the minute you enter the car park rather than when you get the ticket!

I’ve heard that and seen the reviews, but only after I made this film. I didn’t have a problem. I used the app. I don’t know if that made a difference or not but it worked for me. I would be extra careful parking there though.
