Okay, firsy, Ryo is HOT, okay, i was a lil mad when he- *Spoiler Alert* Exposed Akira, and i hated that things didnt exactly end in good terms between them, as Akira didnt even hear all that, but i liked the show, it was just overall amazing
The idea is that he doesn’t realize he loves Akira, and that he did the same thing to the humans as his father (God) did to the demons until it was too late. In the manga, it’s revealed that Akira was sent to Hell for becoming a demon, showing that God is a huge asshole
he is a fallen angel and according to the bible this is exactly what the antichrist would look like (anyone correct me if im wrong). it‘s definitely very conflicting to see a character with an appearance like him be literally satan
