We tested 5 batteries to see if generic batteries can keep up with official Ryobi batteries.
All batteries were installed into heat gun and run until heat gun shut off, the battery was allowed 5 minutes to cool off then reinstalled into heat gun to see if there was any extra run time.
All batteries were charged in the same charger(P131/RC18118C) and left to rest for 12 hours before the test was performed.
The ryobi heat gun(P3150/R18HG-0) was allowed to adequately cool down before the next battery was tested.
The starting external temperature of each battery was 64.5°F before the tests began.
