Yes, It does. To be precise, the machine has two attachments. 1) Verti-cutter (not a scarifier. 2) Power rake. (Not dethatcher). It does rake up anything that is below the top of the grass. I do use 😮the power rake on my Zoysia lawn but I don’t go very deep with it. My lawn has never looked better. The Ryobi Scarifier with the power rake is one of the best garden tools I have ever purchased.
Nice one! I'm looking into getting one of these for home. Would be nice if they included both attachments lol. Would be nice to have the option of running the spring tines every 2-3 weeks
Just wondering what the part number is for the new blade? Getting new scarifier soon and want this blade so can aerate the lawn as well but cannot find on the Bunnings website. Thanks
Is there a difference between the 18v and 36v Ryobi scarifiers? I am wanting to get one but not sure if the 36v would be more powerful and cant find any comparisons online between the two.
@@ryobitized I actually ended up contacting Ryobi who said they had stock and that it needed to be special ordered in from Bunnings. Should have it in about a week. 👍
Many stores now have limited stock, just happened to see them on the shelf while wandering through tonight. The nrby link shows stock that's pretty close to real time so you find somewhere nearby that has some if you're still looking g
Don’t use the attachment on buffalo, zoysia, couch or kikuyu. In fact, any type grass type that grows from runners. This type of attachment will tear up the runner which is not what you want to achieve.
It creates individual plants from the runners. The best thing for lawns like that. Rather then long string like grass turns into lots of smaller plants
