Tip number 1: This happens with every angle grinder. Please please please wear safety glasses and gloves whenever working with an angle grinder because sparks WILL be flying everywhere even with that guard. Tip number 2: When using cordless tools, remember to FULLY charge the batteries, don’t leave them at a low charge and expect a high output tool like an angle grinder to work for hours.

Almost all my Ryobi batteries have gone dead this last 6 or so months. Going to switch soon I think.

To be honest I had been using this battery all day and it finally died. I don’t have all that many issues with my Ryobi battery’s

@@DavZell truthfully I have no clue why they won't work. Tried 3 different chargers and none decide to charge them. For whatever reason the internal BMS is screwed.

@@JacobJustIts look up how to jump start the known bad battery with a good one for 20 seconds and then throw it on the charger, it may take a charge. Or open it up and replace whatever bad cells you have with newer cells with the same specs.

Never used a grinder with the guard off I always have to take it off. Just squint your eyes and you’ll be fine

The real fail is when you go to use your ryobi grinder and the switch fails and it wont shut off. Starts as soon as you stick a battery in it. Our safety lady saw it and chucked it in the trash. Just one of the reasons we went to the red tools
