@InuranusBrokoff you need to understand ryobi isn't brand new, buddy. They have old ass tools still kicking being used by homeowners to this day because they are still getting the job done. 3 Dewalt tools will fail before a Ryobi tool will. Ryobi stayed quality and dewalt did not.

@@capn.c5321man stop with the bs already!I own tools of both and I guarantee you that 9 out of 10 dealt will outlast them any day.Dont even get me started with that ryobi generator I had to purchase for hurricane Ida!Let’s just say I was lucky to even get a generator cause all stores were sold out of every store!Thankfully I had no problems with it but damn is it heavy for no reason at all.Its made cheap as fk,but i was greatful for it.I cant sit here and lie that ryobi is a brand i prefer….By the way im not a fanboy of any brand.Im the type to do lots of research of every tool i purchase,and then i purchase the one that is best at a good price.Put it this way,you'd find many different brands of tools in my shed but not many ryobi cause i pretty much consider it a throw away type of tool.No hate but i just feel like its not made very well to take punishment.Im not saying i dont take care of my tools cause i do.To each his own though! Oh and by the way ryobi does make some great bits I keep forgetting to purchase every time I go in Home Depot, which isn't very often!

Pros of Ryobi - Low price - 90-100% performance of the cutting edge - Won't get stolen because people hate em (and it's cheap anyways) - Just as long lasting if not more (it's bigger for a reason) - Stupidly large line of tools on same battery platform - Direct Tools Outlet sells them for stupidly low prices some times Cons - Battery format is outdated and bulky - Color is "unprofessional"

I use Ryobi on a regular basis as a maintenance guy in the public sector. Goes through drywall, wood, and concrete with the same force as say, a Makita hammer drill I’ve used for drilling holes for a tv mount on concrete. I have an older model that’s beat up and can still punch through any surface without much support (my hand), also got a newer brushless hammer drill. Never understood the Ryobi hate or the cult like devotion to Dewalt. Why spend a car note on a drill when you can pay almost two hundred bucks less for a Ryobi that gives you quality production.

They're not bad tools but as someone that uses them daily at work while my coworkers use Milwaukee tools, they rarely out perform Milwaukee, they have in a few instances and they take a beating. Honestly though if you need them for your job like I do I'd invest in the bigger brands DeWalt Milwaukee Makita even Flex. I just had the Ryobi tools before and decided to use what I had instead of buy all new tools

I have Ryobi and Milwaukee. So, TTI’s bottom tier and top tier products. I use Ryobi for woodworking and Milwaukee for mechanical work. I don’t notice a performance difference between the two. I’ve owned both for many years, but started upgrading the Ryobi stuff to the One+ HP line 3 years ago. Anyone who has a problem with Ryobi at this point has probably never used their new stuff. I have. A lot. “It would never hold up at the job site!” It’s not meant to, dummy. They’re advertised as a DIY brand. 🤦🏻
@BlargeAdam
@BlargeAdam 10 месяцев назад
in my personal experience they definitely are a bro brand to me and I believe they did get officially announced as a pro brand in 2021 because thats what there hp line is for if ryobi wanted to stay home owner/diy category they would of just stayed with there brushed one+ line and when I say in my personal experience I use them for automotive and I'm not going to lie I used them a few times in the dumbest way possible I used them in a rain storm so they got drenched I used them in the winter dropped them in the snow I got sand oil and coolant in the motors they still work like new and the batteries still work to after all that and most of my batteries are from the pawnshops so they was already beat up to begin with but they still work after almost 2 years Aldi I tried using my 4mode impact driver for home use I literally can't because it's that power it just strips the Philips and flat head screws like no tomorrow I can't even use speed one

you gotta factor in durability. i had a ryobi SDS hammer drill and after about an hour of use the trigger malfunctioned and wouldn't shut off. ended up renting a hilti for the remaining few days and it did the job with no issues. that's something a lot of tests and reviews can't really determine - the long-term reliability.

The DeWalt was slightly ahead until the last inch which may have hit a knot. Should do it like Project Farm and take the average of three tries to say which is better. 2200 inch lbs and higher battery power should have beat Dewalt by a long shot but it didn't. Think about that. Dewalt was the real winner.

You're right. Ryobi barely won by having a higher torque rating and a bigger battery. Most didn't notice that.

Jesus christ I swear yall are a cult the second something beats your brand for once yall say its rigged or the tool didn't have the right battery for it let ryobi win some shit and for the record that ryobi won fair and square because that 4ah hp batteries don't have the 2700 cells in it

Because Ryobi's torque ratings are wildly exaggerated. Ridgid also. It's probably closer to 1700

Yeah but it also costs half and it performs higher then the DeWalt. Regardless of ratings
