Great tool I recently got one and it worked great. I just let a friend borrow it for there tub. I shared your video as how to use it since your video was the clearest and straight forward I found. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you, one thing I’ve started doing since I made the video was start spraying down the cable with wd40 as it likes to rust and make sure to keep the drain open on the drum and on the bottom
PhillyWiz just used it to clear a clog for my brothers kitchen sink. It’s not something I use everyday, but when I need it, it’s sure nice to have! Thanks for watching
Hi Steve, you really shouldn't use rubber gloves with a power auger, they can get caught and wrap around the snake causing injury, you need a good pair of leather gloves.
That’s a good tip, I would go a step further and say good tight fitting leather gloves. I had loose gloves on before and it just almost caught it while snaking a main a few years ago
I have a clog somewhere between the toilet and the shower. (Yeah the toilet's backing up into the shower - first floor/slab.) Is it better/easier to g through the toilet and down or the shower? I suspect it's caught at the join. I'll likely have unclogged it by the time you see this, but appreciate your input and your video. Just bought one of these.
Nice... I have all Dewalt tools, But I did not want to buy a $300 Dewalt drain tool for minimal use so I bought the Ryobi drain cleaner tool only and then I bought a Dewalt to Ryobi battery adapter… That way I did not have to buy a Ryobi battery and charger just for one tool that will rarely get used, but nice to have when you need it
It’s not about speed . More speed in time it will damage the pipe . Slow and steady. I use to have a snake that I have to turn my hand for 7 yrs it was a pain . I got a m12 power Milwaukee. It’s similar and does the job
You are right! I think at this time I made the video I got the bright idea to record a video after the clog was already cleared, I think that was my reasoning and a sleeping newborn I didn’t want to wake! This bad boy has served me well for the duration I’ve owned it. Thanks for commenting
@@steverone7623 I checked, and they do not sell it anymore. They last sold an endoscopic camera 7 to 9 years ago. Because that is what I found on RU-vid. It is weird that they don't, because the are made by the same manufacturer as milwaukee. That is "TTI".
nice tool however this guy doesn't not know how to operate the equipment maybe call a plumber next time.. reverse is not for pulling the snake out the pipe it's for dodging the tip when it gets stuck only
Mike Evans ok so you make a video showing exactly how it’s done and I’ll criticize you. Comment section is full of people I helped so go pound sand pal
