I agree on how great they are. The Ryobi instruction manuals are generally a pain to try to read anyway. A few are well done but most are difficult to even find the info on how to use the tool due to all the legal info they drop into them. I'm glad you found the video informative and helpful.
So far the nails I have been shooting are 0.113 and 0.120 but being able to shoot any diameter standard 21* nail would be the best of all worlds! Thank you for watching and commenting.
I ordered mine from HomeDepot.com on Feb 10 of 2023, so over a year ago now. Perhaps there are regulations preventing it from being sold in the UK? I am not sure if Home Depot will ship globally but as someone from the states I have order several items from Amazon.co.uk and had great results, perhaps you could buy from Amazon US and have a successful purchase. www.amazon.com/dp/B0CF3HS7ZP There are a few things that Ryobi Australia has that I really like but we cannot get here in the states, so I know how this feels. Good luck and I hope you can get your nailgun!
@TBKHomeworld thanks for your quick response. They did say when i contacted them in May 2023 that we would be getting them but no dates yet. A year is a long wait i might ask them again. I just need to check USA voltage is usable in the UK on 230/240v
Fortunately the Ryobi One+ batteries are all the same globally so all you would have to do is buy the tool and have it shipped and then buy a battery and charger locally to you. They sell the real Ryobi charger on amazon.co.uk: www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07124RR3T I checked all of my battery chargers that I own and they are specifically 120v so US based items will not work without an adapter. The tool is really great and I am disappointed Ryobi has not brought it to the UK yet.
@TBKHomeworld thanks, i thought that the batteries might have been different to accept 120 or 240v. Whats the exact usa model name of the 21 framing nailer to look it up on usa sites?
The actual model of the nailgun itself is "PBL345" on it while the most current one on Home Depot's website has it listed as "PBL345B" but they are the same models. I would avoid the model "PBL345KN" because it comes with the nailgun, battery and charger which the charger would be pointless for your location unless you buy a power adapter. NOTE: The letter(s) at the end of models on the website typically denote packages they sale for the product, so the base model number should always be the same of "PBL345" I hope you are able to find a place that will ship one to the UK!
@gusgus6558 that is very unfortunate! I wonder if it was a fluke w/a bad unit....i've used mine a few times since I recorded the video and I still haven't had any issues with mine. Hopefully it stays that way, if not then I will film an update video. Thanks for sharing your experience!
