May actually has a Ryu Number of 1, they are both in the mobile game KOF Allstar. This game also gives him a direct connection to things like Soul Calibur and Seven Deadly Sins. Cool vid btw

Kevin Bacon's Ryu number (and vice versa) is 2. Ryu --> Fortnite --> John Cena, John Cena --> Tour de Pharmacy --> Kevin Bacon. Thus, he is connected to most of the film industry pretty quickly through Kevin Bacon, if not through Fortnite itself or other means.

You can actually make the May to Ryu connection in just 1 link. Both of them are in KOF ALL STAR, a mobile gacha KOF game with a ton of crossovers, including both Guilty Gear and Street Fighter.

There's an even easier, imo funnier way to connect Ryu to religion Ryu and KOS-MOS both appear in Project X Zone KOS-MOS is from Xenosaga (and she herself is supposed to be Mary Magdalene) Jesus Christ, the actual literal Jesus Christ from the Bible, is also a character in Xenosaga

I was going to say Serina, The Future is Wild, or All Tommorows, but all have creatures descended from real life animals, which of course exist in the real world, thus Ryu arguably connects to them. I don't quite know if Alien Planet/Expedition can be connected however, as Darwin IV is a fictional planet thus probably cannot exist in our universe.

Chess made a collab with clash royale, clash royale had many collabs with brawl stars, brawl stars has collab skins with line, ryu is in line rangers, ryu score of 4, though I feel like you could shorten it with one of chess's other collabs, this is just the first that came to mind Edit: I just remembered that mr beast appeared as a bot in chess and mr beast is in fortnite, dropping the ryu score to 2

When you ask an average person about fighting games the first character they'll think off is ryu, akuma is only really known in the fgc as the face of cheap secret bosses, not even bosses in general since that title belongs to bison and rugal

No, Akuma was the very first crossover character in fighting games, since X-Men children of the atom, Akuma part of the main storyline in the Tekken universe, Akuma started the gaming industry, he don’t lose the battle against anyone in the main storyline, proven Akuma is the face of fighting games.
