If you guys don’t know, Thai dub always add unnecessary line to the show just to make it match Thai’s sense of humor. I find it kinda dumb as I’m half Thai/Japanese, I want it to be more original. I means..Ryuk was supposed to be an neutral observer “mastermind type” character. (Im aware that he’s a neutral character but that’s how the show portrayed him, a neutral yet mastermind character who desire nothing but entertainment to himself) but they interpreted him as a kind of comedic relief character instead. what Ryuk said while he laughed “Played like a damn fiddle” “He got her/she’s finished”
