@@Jeptahz i used to build 4600g system. 120w via pico psu + adapter charger, ultra low power and super sfx pc coz no psu inside, I use adapter charger instead so my tiny pc easy to fit in my bag for portable usage.
The 4600g is slightly weaker in performance but has less power consumption and better thermals. An overclocked 4600g could make that gap non-existent. 🤔
yes,,, this is the reason why i choose 4600g 6c/ 12 t.. with good price performance at now 2023.... it cost similar with i3 10105 ( igpu ) but ony have 4c/ 8t
@@artanme yes of course.. but if you need a higher single thread performance, you must choose at least i3 12100f ( same price as R5 4600g ) for rendering / gaming you can choose R5 5600g 6c/12t, for daily trading just choose i3 gen 12
@@si4632you can't install windows on it & have no upgrade path , don't own the hardware , fully dependent on Microsoft's mood to let you play, have no way to install any other software or use it for any other work than watching videos & playing games. 5600g is currently 100$ here. & B550 motherboard with 4ram slots , 2 m.2 slot & decent io goes for 70$ , add 16gb ram to this & you have a strong combo that is better than xbox in everyway
same fps, but worse cpu, (its got a big bottle neck) apu its using less than 30% of the cpu, with gpu 5600 its waaay better, 6n 12t 4.2 vz 8n 16t 4.4 just similar apu
I am planning to build a pc for below 400€ with new parts and a 4600g would be a solid cpu with a solid gpu for fortnite, csgo or valorant on high and for more demanding games like rdr 2 but on low. Im just too broke to get a gpu, might get an used 2070 few months after

Yes, i just realized my ram is almost full usage on this game. They really need release patch for fix memory leak, previous update of resident evil village gave less than 12gb ram... Thank you ^^
Great vídeo, I have my doubts on the 4600G now since in RE8 the 0.1% low and frame times are way better in the 5600G probably because of the x2 L3 cache, in fact in most of the newer titles like CP2077 the 5600G shines. But overall the 4600G is a great option and power friendly. 5600G is $25 dollars more here in México. I don't know what to do 😅
@@adamantiteBThere's an Asrock B450M Pro 4 Rev 2.0 quite cheap but It's not updated for the 5600G nor 4600G. Motherboard vendors used to update their motherboards but they lazy now.

my 4600g is almost 2years now it started with a320m motherboard with 8gb ram 2666mhz with a 500watts cheap PSU.. After a year I upgrade it to TUF B450M PRO II 32gb of 3200mhz Ram 80+ bronze 700watts PSU and 240mm water cooler and Run everything under heavy load in 40+degree temp..

Casi cualquier procesador de los últimos cuatro años se banca cualquier juego en cuanto a procesador, el mayor cuello de botella siempre es la gráfica pq se exige cada ves más. Es muy raro que te quedes corto en procesador jugando.

@@Angeal77L3 cache is helpful for newer and demanding videogames. The 4600G has 8MB and the 5600G 16MB. You can see that in Cyberpunk 2077 and Resident Evil 8 the stutter is minimal in the 5600G.
Por isso peguei o R5 4600g a perfomance em jogos é quase igual ao R5 5600g porem com uma diferença de preço de 400$ no tempo que comprei, o R5 4600g me custou 600$ enquanto o R5 5600g estava 1000$
Thank you for the video, I thought amd adrenaline was showing wrong temps for me I even downloaded hwinfo to double check it as I couldn't beleive my 4600g was around 40℃ in games with the stock cooler. Turns out it's a normal temperature.
I agree that there is a little bit gap between r5 4600g and r5 5600g but not that drastic jump. I will go for 4600g since i am not that power user just casual user.
Your preformance will be much lower, because your ram is 1x8gb. So, upgrade your ram to 2x8gb and your fps will be much higher and can get same performance as 4600g or a bit lower than 4600g.

@@alimudingaming2263 A320 can't overclock CPU and APU, only RAM can oc. About undervolt, you can disable auto boost speed of ghz in bios to make less temperature, voltage and speed of cpu.
No, it's correct. The IGPU will use up to 8GB as shared memory. This is why leaving the uma buffer size to auto is fine. MSI afterburner shows 0.4GB vram usage but when you check task manager you will see the total GPU memory usage is much higher. I did testing with uma buffer set to auto and 4GB and found no difference. You'll only want to change it if you play very old games that's not optimized to iGPUs
