Literally just had my 900 rebuilt due to dust getting in and destroying my valves. My ump intake came in today and going to be installing it very soon. I haven’t really driven my rzr since the rebuild because im paranoid about the dust. But now im ready to install my new intake and begin the break-in process on my 900.
Good video man only thing I would of done differently was cut the excess from the intake tube at the plenum side instead of the where you did at the filter you may not have had that pinch idk but good job
Thanks for watching! That sounds like a good idea. I'm getting ready to bring the rzr out of winter storage and I'm going to look at it and see if that would be better. The instructions provided left a lot to be desired. Are you installing one as well?
XinnKoda I just ordered it today so probably be installing it next week I also got a tusk power steering system ! But you better catch up I already been to the sand dunes and reason why I say cut it at the other end is that bend looks like it would match up perfectly if you went to the right the 2-3 inches
@@pwcummins4 very true. What area are you living in? We're in northern utah and we're going to be purchasing a toy hauler soon and our first trip will be sand hollow.
You can buy it from Amazon or from a number of different sites. Just Google RZR 900 Ump Filter Kit. I bought mine directly from UMP. Thanks for watching!
Now that you've had some time running this filter setup, what do you think? My stock air box is cracked and I'm thinking of getting this as a replacement. Is the filter reusable?
I still love it! The filter is reusable and very easy to clean. I would not run a cracked airbox at all, even if the crack is on the other side of the filter. It's too large of a risk to dust your engine. Thanks for watching!
