Sezane Silk Blouse Collection Inspired by French Style Fashion & How to care for silk shirts/clothing.
Today's video focuses on how I take care of my Sezane silk tops. I share with you my tips on how I wash and dry my silk garments at home. In the second part of the video, I discuss 9 of my favorite Sezane silk blouses and tell you a little bit about each item. I think silk is an excellent investment if you are trying to build a capsule wardrobe and integrate more timeless and classic pieces into your closet. I hope you enjoy it and find some of the tips in this video helpful. I put my silk in a machine, but washing machines in Europe have more delicate cycles than the ones in the US. So I wash them at 20°c and I put the “spin” at the lowest level at 400 tours. I use hair shampoo and wool shampoo. If I a have a big stain I use so soap directly on it. My silk shirts have a few years and are as good as new, I really love them. I like silk, it is stronger than what we think. Nice collection!!

Wonderful video, Agnes! I have a few Sezane pieces but particularly enjoy my Cloe blouses in white, raspberry and dark green. I love the Chloe top! But I just ran into the issue of water stain on the sleeve after washing for the 3rd time. So I’ve been delicately testing with that before taking to the dry cleaners.

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that! Sometimes I’ll do some spot cleaning with a mixture of water and a little bit of white vinegar, gently working it into the spot for few minutes and then washing the whole garment again. I hope you get this issue resolved soon so you can enjoy your beautiful Chloe top! Also, it might be best to just let the professionals deal with it so you don’t damage the fibers by trying to get rid of the stain. Thank you for sharing 🤍

Hi! I have the same Chloe blouse from Sézane. I’m wondering what your advice would be to keep the collar standing up? It used to be stiffer but after wearing it for some time it just folds down every time..

Hi Iris! I have a similar issue with the collar. The only tip I can give is to iron it and that helps the collar to stay up a bit more. But it’s definitely not a stiff as it was when I first purchased the top. Thank you for watching.🤍

I think Sezane should bring it back as an essential piece 🙂 it’s interesting that you mentioned the white Chloe top because I remember seeing it on you in one of your videos recently and it looks so pretty on you. So yes, I have been thinking about it but I keep thinking that I already have 3 of the Chloe tops so do I really need another one (?🤔)…would you say it is more sheer than the Florence top?

The Chloe shirt looks beautiful! Is bottle green shade very dark or it has some vibrancy to it that is not too dark?

I would say that the bottle green top is darker in shade, more subdued, not very vibrant. If you are looking for a pop of green, you might want to check out the new shade called Olive green. It looks so pretty on the website. I hope that is helpful.

Thank you:) Which blazer/color are you feeling pulled to? I really like the khaki and the dark green but they have been out of stock. I tried the camel on at the Sezane store but I think it was a bit too big on me. It's been on my mind for some time now and I could see investing in a smaller size tho. I also like the curry color as well. So many beautiful choices!

Hi I’ve got the Chloe. I normally am a 36 but I feel like I need to size down, I think it fits big. Do you agree ?

In my opinion they are similar in size to the other Sezane silk tops. I got mine in size 34 and I now wish I got them in size 36 just to have a little more room. I think it really depends on how you like to wear them. If you prefer a more fitted look, then sizing down might be better. I typically like a little more room and don’t mind the more relaxed fit. Hi Althea! I understand the struggle! My favorite bra and the one that I wear with all my white tops is by the brand Chantelle and it's called the Revele Moi Perfect Fit Bra (here is the link: bit.ly/3qAo9Oo). It gives fantastic support, doesn't add bulk, and doesn't look like something my grandma would wear:) I don't know how it would work under the white Chloe top because unfortunately, I don't own one. But it works great under my white Sezane Florence blouse which is also made of silk and is more on the thin side. I hope that helps a little bit!

What are deodorants that don’t stain silk? How to avoid sweat stains? Thank you!! ✨✨

Hi Flora! Are you referring to the yellow sweat stain underarms? 😌 if yes, I think it has to do with aluminum in the deodorant reacting with the sweat and that’s what causes the discoloration. I use natural deodorant by Shmidt’s Rose & Vanilla. It seems to work well. You might want to give it a try. Also, if you already have a sweat stain try using a little bit of baking soda mixed with white vinegar, leave it on for s few minutes, use a tooth brush to gently massage the solution (or for more stubborn stain: hydrogen peroxide and baking soda but only on white tops) Hope that’s helpful. I think it will fit you as well bc the sleeves have two buttons so they cinch in at the wrist area and have this balloon feel to them. You might want to size down as well depending on your measurements. I got mine in size 34. I hope that is helpful! 🌸

Be careful to remove the spare button from the label inside the blouse! I nearly ruined my beautiful new Chlo blouse while ironing it before wearing for the first time because I hadn't noticed it.
