Having had an Arrow on my 1190 adventure R, I'm not going to buy another Arrow. The perforated grill/mesh on the inside came loose after 1 year and a half. I had no external damage to it, but maybe due to off-road vibrations... I couldn't bear the rattling any more at certain RPM's... and the carbon cover felt very flimsy ( compared to Mivv's carbon for example ). After that I went for a Leovince and the difference in finish/quality was noticeable right away especially the carbon. The best custom exhaust I've owned was a Mivv Suono on my first KTM Duke 125. Just brutal and gorgeous ( only downside... tinnitus in my ears from that one alone in full open mode ) People were looking at me from 3 streets away, the sound when closing the throttle, OMG, thunderstorm in my right hand it was :) ( over the top I admit :) ) On my Superduke 1290 SE, I'm still stuck with the full Akra evo, but I'd love to hear that Mivv again, now on a big CC bike.

I had a ty 80 as well loved it

I have 22 s1000rr, the pipe is definitely completely pass through the issue is in the exit tip, it reduces the diameter of the pipe and slows down exhaust volcity up in the higher rpm ranges. Arrow and Akra have larger diameter exit tips then most aftermarket exhausts.

To put this into perspective a stock 1000cc motorcycle is making ~30 bhp more at the back wheel than a 1300cc 99 Hayabusa - despite the stricter noise and emissions standards. Incredible.
