I find some pretty darned good silver plate flatware, and then it just got better from there! Unfortunately, the coin silver I have is very thin and fragile, with dents that will probably hurt any resale premium possibilities. Still, it's incredible!
Don't miss part 2 where I cover the 25 or so lbs of hollowware in the box as well. Can it possibly be anywhere as good?

The spoon marked with an Astrix, the last mark was an eagle. An eagle mark like that means coin silver.

Ah, thank you ! I was confident it was, just because that box had a lot already so it was clearly part of someone's collection and just how it felt in my hands.

Hi I saw that you sell silver and was wondering if you have any Vermont coin silver or other Vermont sterling for sale? Also do have any silver made by Daniel Van Voorhis or William Coley. Im a collector looking to add to my collection.

Hi, thanks for asking. I'm not sure, as I do not have that much coin silver. Most of what I pick up is plate, as you already know. I'll keep you in mind if I do stumble on any.

Is Vermont a highly prized place they made coin silver? How do you know if its from Vermont?
