[S] GAME OVER : REANIMATED 

the staunch seriousness of the shot where karkat gets stabbed vs the immidiate sugoi quest for kokoro afterwards is exactly why i love reaniamted projects, everyone puts their own unique spin on it

the idea to have shitty 3d models at the start for caliborn's awful manga drawings was absolutely inspired

I love how they added a part where Kanaya throws Terezi out of the way of the beam. Truly selfless.

kudos to the animator who interpreted the Kanaya death scene as her throwing Terezi out of the way before Kanaya herself gets incinerated, it just gives so much more emotional depth (even if the canon reason is because tealbloods are more durable than jadebloods)

Everything about that last Caliborn segment by Sketchoodles is so amazing. So much of his character shows through just through the expression work. You see his genuine fear quickly followed by relief and then reflection on his damaged pride and desire for revenge. But then everything is immediately replaced by desperation to end the scene as quickly as possible in order to save face, since he knows people are watching. So many great details there and I love it.

Can we just talk about how John almost killed "Mr. My alarm clock is the destruction of a universe"before he became an unkillable god?

THIS IS SO INCREDIBLY GOOD WHAT THE HELL

The euphoria I feel right now is UNREAL this project has kept me busy for most of 2020 and I can't even begin to describe how good it feels to finally show it off. This was a really complicated project from an editing standpoint, but I had a great time working with the assets that our artists have provided and seeing it all come together seamlessly in the end made all the hard work worth it Thanks to all of our talented animators for their dedication to this project. YOU made this possible

WOAH..... All the death scenes hurt way more with the animators putting more emotion into it (well, I mean, apart from Karkat's instantly being parodied hgfdfghjhgfk had a good laugh at that) but YOOOOOOOOOO I can do a mini rant on how cool this is!!!!!! :oO

You know it just dawned on me that if John hadn't been retcon teleported away he would have killed caliborn, and that's a bit scary to think about

i like how some people took it seriously, and others just made a meme out of theirs LMAO its so great and it brought comic relief to something that ive always dreaded since i read homestuck

I love how the reanimated version isnt even that different because the original already had a bazillion different artstyles at once

My favorite thing about these projects is seeing all the different styles everyone uses. This was so awesome, thank you everyone who worked on it! (Although anime!Nepeta's rippling buttocks are going to be haunting my nightmares...)

THIS IS SO AMAZING OH MY GODDUFHDOHJEINJHRERJJ HUGE KUDOS TO ALL THE ANIMATORS THIS GAVE ME LITERAL CHILLS......this gave me so much nostalgia and ngl i got .super emotional and maaaybe i cried a little 😏 in all seriousness this was so mesmerizing to watch and every single one of the people who contributed to this project are so so SO very talented and i feel like this is something i could watch over and over again, and revisit over the next few years. god i hold homestuck so close to my heart and this hit so hard to be completely honest and ive been SO excited for this project....now that its been finished im just like .... wow . that was just.amazing. im speechless . the animation and talent is REMARKABLE and ughhh i go on for 9898989898 years how much i love this holy fuck

0/10, didn't keep the important plot detail of Karkat rolling up his sleeves then them falling back down when he fought Gamzee. jkjk, in all seriousness this was awesome, i loved all the different styles. these are really good and the artists are very talented

the part from 01:27 where Caliborn and John fight is absolutely hilariously animated

I am so so happy with how this turned out! Everyone put their all into their parts and it shows. I also love the increased interest in using mixed media and stop motion with their parts, and maybe we could even include stop motion stuff in the future!

seeing all the effort, care, and skill everybody put into their parts, the many styles featured (realistic and toony, homestuckesque and their own, blank slates and other races [looking at the artists who did poc roxy, jake, dave and rose!!], etc.), and all the different media/animation forms to tell this sad, sad story (2d and 3d, cell and puppet, STOPMOTION JEGUS) it fills me with determination and brought me to tears halfway through the first time i watched this. i hope the 8ig man hussie himself sees this oneday and that everybody who participated in this masterpiece is very proud of themselves :') edits: hi, as i watch this i keep finding so many little things and so many small details that i absolutely adore (ex. jane's eyes+ glasses flying off her face as areana throws her off, karkat running past kanaya, kanaya throwing terezi to safety [which answered my question on how terezi survived the blast but kanaya did not], 69, THE FUCKING NARUTO HEADBAND) GOG I LOVE THIS S SO HECKING MUCH

I stopped reading homestuck around 2010 (act 3 I think) and just got back into it this year and oh my GOD. I just got to Game Over for the first time and was just destroyed and then I saw this and holy crap. What an astounding, amazing tribute and recreation of such a fantastic animation. The disparate kinds of art work so well together. Just a beautiful mishmash of styles, something homestuck itself does but this is pushed to the nth degree. Love it!!

I think this is honestly better than collide reanimated this deserves way more attention like WAY WAY MORE
