pain in the wallet, precisely. 🤣 he's not that badly build 😂 i just feel that for the price, he deserves better joint quality. overall, i'd say he's an ok figure with top notch appearance. a unique, one-of-a-kind figuarts.
Mine has been the worst figure, even had a joint fall apart and they wouldn't respond to my email because bandai has an old defunct one and only 7 day warranty after the item arrives, didn't realize until after the first email was ghosted. The plastic is much thinner/lighter than normal and is quite similar to cheap dollar store toys, and the tail / feet suck but its a great looking figure.
yes, i suspect so, but it's stuck on mine. i'm just pointing out that he doesnt have the smoothest joints for the price range. truly disappointing that he's not as fun as the final form.
awesome review. really covered it all with both the positive and negatives. imo only worth it for the hardcore collectors or if you have strong attachment for the movie/character but of course it's up to the individual. 😅
i keep mine in a cool room (no direct sunlight) & placed some silica gel packets around the display. i put them inside acrylic cases, so no dust. that way, i dont need to clean them frequently. wiping them off regularly can cause micro scratches that's hard to notice until it's too late, even if you're using microfiber cloth. plus, the cleaner you use (soap/detergent) can sometime contain abrasive properties, or might cause discoloration. that said, unable to oftenly playing with them, is the drawback of super high glossy finish figures. i gotta say, it's very difficult to predict deterioration on metal finish, since it heavily depends on the climate.
@@toysfront thanks for the information! I recently purchased this figure and this info will help. Also, I’ve heard that applying baby oil can help? Not sure if some kind of oil can protect the finish.
no, no oil, it will be even more of a dust magnet. some people top coat it with tamiya clear finish, but i wouldnt recommend it as some glossy finish can react to the chemical & turn cloudy. u should try it on smaller parts first, if you intend to top coat it. otherwise, just leave it encased in a cool place & change pose every once in a while. wear gloves if u want to avoid fingerprints. enjoy & congrats 😆
I am fine skipping he's in my opinion the worst looking 3.0 dragon ball figure so far doesn't mean he is a terrible looking figure i just prefer not having to worry about messing around with him because of his paint job and besides if i wanted a metal cooler army it seems dragon stars may be doing a metal cooler figure. He definitely isn't overall worth the price point either, p-bandai has been lately feeling a bit greedy with the price increases they been doing. The fact that they advertised a metal cooler army as well was just the nail in the coffin when this figure is already 120 bucks or so
Great video, as always! Do you think this is the kind of figure that will become rare and expensive in the after market as soon as it will be out of stock? Like a Broly SdCC 2016?
with the rate people holding off right now, there's a high chance it will. i see some premium releases started to increase in price on my local aftermarket currently, namely, frieza 2nd, 3rd, broly super, & orange piccolo. we'll see when the stock dries up. thx for the visit, friend 🙏
lol, yes, sorry for that. i wanted to give him 3, but the joints are not that smooth. believe me, the tight clearance between limbs are beautiful, but u really hv to be careful posing him 😂 anyway, he might be the only chrome plated figuarts, so highly recommended to collect.
@@toysfrontfor the price point, accessories, advertising of metal coolers army when its 120 bucks as well as the chrome is too risky to mess with and the fact that he doesn't look a bit more blue (although i see the blue tint just not enough for my liking but thats my opinion) and honestly i just have things like revoltech reverse flash or the agent venom which gives you more value out of the price point
Figure is not $120 in some parts of asia taiwan has it ranging from $70 to $90, for that price it’s acceptable… shf 2099 on the other hand is $95 to 120 overpriced but i caved as its one of my favourite spidey variants, and the mezco version is already well overpriced now
