I still remember after 9/11, President Bush said in his address, "Either you are with us or against us." Gotta give it to Pakistan, they were with Al Qaeda and USA at the sametime. Maybe US deserves allies like Pakistan.
Russia always helped India during tough times ...the idea of being independent and taking caring things in our hands is a good path..but should be done not in arrogance but with respect too
@@lionalrodrigus2566 Agreed! Why drag everyone into this. India has called for a peaceful resolution. Unlike China, India doesn't support Russia on the war. India is still Nehru's Beacon of "Non-Alignment". Indians don't say that you're against us when it comes to China. India saw it was their fight and joined "Quad". Now does that mean Indians start fighting all the wars where QUAD is involved. Indians still regret the wars they fought for the British overseas, it is an unspeakable number of death and sadness. 🥲🥲🥲
Again some more cow dung from the JNU trained foreign minister. Who is he speaking to is not clear? Is it himself ? He needs to tell his son Dhruva Shankar a classic pull case now working in the US as VP of ORF to resign from his office of profit job. After Jay Shah another son using papa to make money. Shame and disgusting. Indian foreign policy is being held prisoner to private loot.
@@akshaysharma8940 Yeah I can literally hear the feet of all those Upper caste Indians fleeing Europe now and grabbing their children and admitting them to sanskrit studies in Benares Hindu University. Thank you Jaishankar and please also get your son that good for nothing living off his papa's connections from so called working in the USA for ORF. Druba should join Jay shah in running BCCI. That is where all the meritorious non Lutyens Delhi non work. Yes India has finished Europe. Hurray.
This lady is seriously something, but Mr. Jaishankar is an absolute gift to our country, and every single word that he said was 100% true. We must change the mindset of these countries that we were, are, and will be always capable enough to take our own stand and not just blindly side with any of the axis powers!!!!
In short , he said that , new players are coming , that means new world order should be there, he is telling about that India can be its own potential axis and it is going to be a multipolar world
@@gampa_10_31 Ehh? The world never revolved around US or Euro. If I remember properly, it was forcefully made to revolve around them. 🤷🏼♂️ Now the statistics are changing rapidly.
What he said is absolutely true...where were these so called righteous people when Afghanistan was invaded by Taliban. Wasn't this world's problem? Talk about double standards ..
Well America trained and raised Taliban, what more can you expect?🤷🏽♀️ They weren't concerned about genocide in Bangladesh. What's more, the atrocities done by American military in Vietnam like My Lai massacre etc. They carry out the invasions/attacks, but don't like to be the recipients of it. LOL
@@piezo8089 Its not a matter of taking control....its a matter of the justification to even go there in the 1st place, why would the Taliban take control back of Afghanistan? Because the US invaded and created a political vacuum for these terrorist groups to form. So, at the end of the day, the discussion was if the triggering of the chain was justified or not. Unfortunately, most say it's not. The US invading countries in the name of fighting terrorism is a bad deed.
As West European I give my respect to Min. Jaishanka!! The US and good old Europe still think that India is a colony of the British Empire and we haven't realize - or rather don't want! - that India has fought to hard and too long to gain its independence. Do we truly think that they are ever going to give it up again?! Rightfully they make their decisions acc. to what's best for their country and their citizens. They're e.g. not like the Ukraine which has given up its sovereignty in 2014 and is ever since governed by the US. Bravo India!!!!

@@PraveenKumar-hu4xf Yup. typical upper caste response. Jaishankar is from JNU. Do the math. His son is in the US with ORF. Its called upper caste privilege.
The interviewer thought she has all the right questions and she was ready to put him in a spot but he roasted her savagely with facts, logic and honesty.
India has always been smart and non-aligned; this dude took this smartness to a whole new level. Very transparent in his answers, yet very soft spoken. An awesome quality!

I will say , S Jayshankar is a greatest speaker I ever heard in such a specific to the point answer to criticizers...A up hand speaker on behalf of India ...we should proud of such speaker on the platform of global level...See we expect more light from Sun than Heat ...as said by S Jayshankar ...its very hard for Europe to accept defeats on various platforms / sectors ...
@@SomeshSingh. it doesn’t matter when someone ask hypocritical questions like that whoever it may be :) next time people think twice of asking questions like these to sir Jai Shankar :) !
There is nothing to get fried here. That is the role of a journalist to ask tough questions and because of that we get these great responses from our Foreign minister.
This guy has swag. He gave the reporter some good whipping. I agree with him, if a country wants to stay neutral, it's alright. Switzerland stayed neutral during WW2. They don't say Switzerland sat on the fence and watched the holocaust happen?🤔🤔🤔
Western Countries thought that India will follow and obey them as previous government did. But India's Stance on Ukraine and Russia conflict surprised them which was Immensely shocking to Europe and US.
la Russia ha violato il primo articolo dell'Onu , attaccando e invadendo un paese sovrano . Voi vorreste entrare come membri permanenti del consiglio di Sicurezza ? Russia does give not only jets they even transferred major technology for our current weapon development. They have did everything they could to have very good relations with India. It’s like giving helping hand when our freind is in bad phase.
So true, so right! Eurocentrism has to come to an END now,... So proud of all these countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America that did not support the position of the EU against Russia. You are right , just mind your own geopolitics and economics interests,
USA, China and Russia have leaders like jaishankar for whom national interest is beyond everything, therefore they are leading the world. If india focus on producing such balant and intelligent leaders then india would be in a much better position in upcoming bipolar world.
