My most requested park after Disney and Universal is always a sea-front, beach or boardwalk style park. So, let's carry on the Planet Coaster realism series with a park that smooshes together Blackpool Pleasure Beach with Adventureland at Southend On Sea.
So far, we have:
Episode 1 - Entrance, Turnstiles and a Wooden Rollercoaster
Episode 2 - S&S Free Fly, main entrance chair swing and the plane ride.
Episode 3 - Indoor Log Flume / Dark Ride Like River Caves
Episode 4 - A small but very spoopy Ghost Train!
Episode 5 - B&M Floorless Coaster
Episode 6 - Giant Inverted Boomerang

It was always a weird one to me... They started off with the rarer coaster types too, like, one of the first ever additions were the launched wing coaster, 2 seater "B&M" invert and a type of hydraulic launch that no-one had heard of. I think the absence of drop tracks and tilt coasters reflects the code design rather then their desire to add them. Same with fixed height tower rides. Switch-track coasters weren't a (big) thing when they stopped developing the game. I don't think any of that exists in Parkitect either - and that is still being developed today..

To be fair, drop tacks and switch tracks and weren't as common when Planco initially came.

@@Nerdchachodrop tracks in parkitect do exist with the taste of adventure pack and parkitect was abandoned in 2019 but developers still care for it, hosting build challenges to keep players into the game

@mrrayner7162 definately. more so than the noahs ark. you are right. I always remember noahs ark being above the entrance and having to walk under it. forgot bout flying machines !

@leemainwaring6439 when it was operational, Noahs Ark was actually back from that entrance point, but basically in line with it (in the "pay per ride" days with free entry), but the shaping, entrance point and shops just make me think of Flying Machines (especially as its a chair swing so a similar style of ride)

Another fine video mate! My wife and I (both from the south east of England) now live in the Bay of Islands, NZ. We are ‘old’ gamers, but your video stuff has got us right into Planco, to such an extent that we are spending hours making a park that is as ‘real’ as we can make it, thanks to your tips :)

It’s a beautiful park and that Wooden coaster is outstanding for something that’s over 100 years old. I was amazed how smooth it was and how much airtime you get!

Hi, what about (for the next park) make a big one? Imagine a big company wants to compete with Disney in Europe, and wants you to build a big park that competes with Disneyland Paris for rides, restaurants, shows, hotels… I would love such a serie from you

ChaCho building in Planco? I'm always along for the ride!!!!! Not that I usually have to worry about your builds but I thought it seemed like the cars on the track we're going a little slow on the coaster. It wasn't until the POV that the speed is just right. Nice work as always.

Forgot to mention - I love the Blackpool-accurate vandalism of an archer shooting at a games unit in episode one and a guy pickaxing the walkway in this episode!

Do it!!! It's really fun. Just remember that Blackpool is deceptively big! It's actually really wide at some points. You have plenty of room for coasters and landscaping.

I'm super biased but I think this park is going to turn out to be a Nonamelandia-level masterpiece... if the rides haven't been fully decided on yet, i'd love to see what Blackpool would look like with a small scale B+M ride, like a Dæmonen style coaster. Or a big ferris wheel by the waterfront!

Oh! I may have read your mind slightly. There's already a floorless in there.. but it is on the larger scale, not smaller... The big wheel on the water front is already in the town... right at the edge of it..

Really cool build. This marks the point where you’ve officially built this coaster type more times than it exists in the real world! On another note, I’m having a bit of a creative block and can’t figure out what coaster to build. Any suggestions?

Just started watching the channel and recently finnished watching the Grosvenor Gardens series alongside following this one, amazing build! Anyone know if the park is downloadable? Couldnt find it on steam workshop

Thanks so much for coming along! Grosvenor, sadly, has some broken tmtk items meaning that unless you already have all the tmtk items it used, the Park would never load or it would load pretty much empty. Beachy isn't available on the workshop unless you're a member. Members have access to the game file during a series, but it goes out for free once the series is free :)
