Feels exactly like the OG trilogy , its got the mutant cries in the background and the ambience we expect from stalker . It might be too early to say this but i feel like GSC is about to hit a homerun with stalker 2 .
@@firescream2528 If stalker 2 fails it wont be because of a lack of care put into it's world at least. The main potential issue that could come up is bugs and performance, and after that the overall gameplay and design.
The trailer does not show the final result. The trailer only shows some of the developers' tools in the field of life simulation WITHOUT THE PRESENCE OF "NPCs".
the most iconic sounds, it gives so much ambience, hints to the player, "you know? there are things happening far away, you are not the only actor in this scene"
Things i'm noticing: The wind speed changes throughout the video Frogs swimming on the water, dragonflies, classic distant mutant noises, and new sounds too! Beautiful Day to Night cycle change The water droplets from the rain on the water surface The atmosphere is impeccable. Please give the sound designers a big hug for me, they are flexing their skills and it's on full display here. Watching the time of day and mood change as the video progresses is giving me chills. Actually, give everyone a hug for me. This is raw talent in every aspect. Game of the Year 2024 right here. I need to get my hands on this. Still having withdrawals from playing the demo at Pax West 😆 💯
it's good you enjoy the frogs, they delayed the game specifically to fine-tune the advanced Frog AI (this encompasses a large portion of the new A-Life system) as well as ensuring the designs are as photorealistic as possible, and that the physics engine would allow for the most accurate-to-life simulation of the water moving when frogs swim in it.
I don't know where you were but we never left the zone. Come to the campfire and listen to stories of our "Anomaly" and "Gamma" adventures, brother. But don't turn your back on the darkness, you never know what it's watching.
GSC understands why people play stalker, they understand the number 1 reason, atmosphere, and the fact they understand this, is the sole reason this game will outlive some of us.
Man I really can't wait to just immerse myself into this world again, honestly half of the time you're just sitting there staring at the screen and taking it all in. It's eerie in the most beautiful way.

Amazing atmosphere, this is what Stalker is all about. I hope the Zone is full of these kind of spots where we can just chill and be immersed. One detail I noticed was the frogs and other ambient sounds becoming more active and louder at night, and as it started raining. Really makes it feel alive! So hyped for next month ❤

my man, you have no idea XD, i literally bougth a whole new pc (and periferals) for this game XD, i was rocking a (pretty solid) latop, and now i'm rocking a gtx 3060, a new mouse (G502 KDA), new monitor (32'' 1440 at 165 Hz) and OF COURSE a new headset (G435). all of that ONLY because of this game XD. i already got the ultimate edition preordered
@@josue1996jc ohh, another one with the 502 kda mouse. i also got it, after i used a G502 Proteus spectrum for a long time. the kda one is also good (minus the cheap cable, the old one has it braided)
This games sound design seems to be absolutely perfect. Noticed in all the gameplay that has come out recently just how good, especially the gun fights sound; the delayed echo after the initial shots is perfect.
I love it, you guys haven't missed a single beat when it comes to the atmosphere, looks like exactly what I hoped to see when this game was first announced.
this is actually genuinly the best thing , Audio literally makes up 50% of a game, other than visual imagery shown to you, I'm so glad its not an afterthought

I have learned to NEVER pre order games after the last few years of game releases, but after seeing the Documentary and all the trailers and little drops they are doing like this, its the one time I can confidently say GSC are some real mfs and that this game whether its good or not, is worth supporting, but I have no doubts about that anyway. Ive pre ordered the limited edition and am SWEATING every day looking at the release countdown.
I was watching, eating pizza, mesmerized by the beautiful nature, fully immersed in the atmosphere, and feeling like I was actually there. At first, it felt like a picnic, and I enjoyed the view, observing the local wildlife; everything was so carefree and peaceful. Then, as it started getting darker, eerie sounds could be heard. I instinctively reached for a shotgun to check if it was ready just in case, but it wasn’t there. I realized that I was standing there, all alone, without a weapon, and dusk had already set in. A feeling of dread washed over me, and an overwhelming urge to turn around and run without looking back towards the village, to the other stalkers, bandits, or anyone, even Sidorovich’s bunker! Suddenly, the Zone vanished! Was it an anomaly, I wondered... I looked around... Now I found myself at home, with a slice of pizza in hand.

The inscription “Шо ти, дядя?” on the windshield means “how are you/what's up, man?” "Дядя" is an uncle, but it's also a slang term in South/Yeast part of Ukraine, like word dude/boy/man in English.

Ya, this is awesome. Great idea! It asks for more of these! Thinking, when the game will be released to make more like this, long play videos, just for relax, or as a background. Very relaxing, better than rain or thunder vids out there :) Can't wait, congrats to the team for making trough of all the obstacles and difficulties. honestly this is the vibe i wanted from a game something that reminds me of home, the closet thing was whitcher3, but i guess i found something even closer.

Absolutely incredible. The only thing that could have made this better would be to have some stalkers or mutants walking by in the distance. I will take what I can get. The addition of wildlife is huge.
This can easily pass as an expected ambience in Jurassic Park. The anomaly growls are pretty scary if you imagine dinosaurs... Not that the zone is any less dangerous
залюбки буду грати як тільки гра релізниться! Зараз перепроходжу перші три гри, без модів - дуже приємно зануритися у ванільний світ Зони. Дякую за вашу роботу! І вірю, що Сталкер 2 буде початком великої серії ігорового всесвіту Сталкер. Може навіть, в майбутньому, і кіновсесвіту ))
I'm really loving the ambiance here ! I just hope we will get really dark nights, just like the old STALKER games where you needed tu use your flashlight and listen to every sounds around you. I don't like the fact that almost every modern openworld games tend to have those nights where you can see almost everything like it's always a full moon.
Згоден з деякими коментарями, що треба темніші ночі. Ніч повинна бути темна, хоч око вибери. Щоб не було бажання ходити в рейд або повертатись з нього у темну пору доби, тому що у 99% випадків- це смерть! Атмосфера і вигляд гри просто неймовірні! Дуже дякую Вам за першу трилогію «Сталкер» і за другу частину! Чекаю з нетерпінням на реліз!🫡🫂
можеш у себе в шафі зачинитись при повному блекауті і бубуніти собі під ніс, що потрібно ще темніше. Це вам не чорна діра з тупою чорною ніччю - ніякої естетики - ІГРОЛАДНО - ЦЕ КАЛ.
А ещё лучше, если разработчики сделают выбор из нескольких типов ночи, от светлой до лютой темени, когда как минимум с фонарём будет возможно понять, где ты находишься в темноте. Такой выбор как минимум в популярной модификации Аномали есть. Вот бы и GSC подобное завезли, угодив практически всем игрокам.
