If people haven’t seen the full episode the guys problem was his wife and young daughter burned to death in a raging house fire, due to the fire being so out of control the Sargent (the hostage) could not send his men in without them dying too, he blames the Sarge for it and it’s revenge
I remember this episode. This guy blame the wrong party for the lost of his family as the real guilty party was the building owner who is aware the building isn't up to fire safety code.
I guess it's because of its compact size. Most bolt cutters I know are gigantic af. And they're pretty inconvenient to have on your back, especially if your job involves running after people in full SWAT gear.
@@Fish220 oh I’m sorry, I thought it was common knowledge you can’t breath smoke, and fire is hot. Even for a police show they did very little research
She had momentum on her side, plus the added weight from all her gear. If she hadn’t already been in a dead sprint, he wouldn’t have gone down as easily.
@@jaydeleon8094 having the stock extended gives the user an extra point of contact, making the recoil easier to handle. Wouldn’t want that recoil to take you by surprise and shoot where you don’t want too!
@@marklafleur6695 .....have you ever used an Mp5 with a collapsible stock? it has almost no recoil if you hold it correctly and use it in single or burst(full auto is stupid in any situation) there is a reason it can fold that much into itself/the weapon
@@pizzamom555 Very few protect against dense smoke like that, as it's so thick the filters can't handle it. If they protected against smoke, firefighters would wear those instead of an SCBA.
Or the fact that a swat team is has upgraded from Ops Core plastic (non-ballistic) bump helmets, to Team Wendy Exfil LTP plastic (non-ballistic) bump helmets, and never use Comtac III or any kind of hearing protection, they always have T-shirts on, the female cop starting talking over the radio while aiming her weapon at someone.. but she wasn't even pushing her PTT (push to talk) button, like who you talking to mate? And the fact that you saw the commander talking to them over a Baofeng UV-5R cheap chinese radio, which is what they all used the first few seasons..
@@lincolntrains2639 It's a great dramatic show for anyone who knows literally nothing about the Emergency Services world. But to people who have experience or know a lot about how things really work, it just makes the show cringy unfortunately.
*I love how they don't even search the RV but still declare it "clear"after one glance.* *Also that 110 pounds female tackling the suspect.* *This show is hilariously bad.*
Facts, and definitely wouldn’t want to spray water a on a class b fuel fire. That requires them to use a foam solution to form a blanket over the fire and smother it out
[Active shooter runs away, and they have eyes on where he's at] "Gimme the hose, instead of getting the firefighters in here, now that they'd be clear of the shooter."
I really want the LAPD and whatever SWAT unit this team could be based on to denounce this show. I’m not saying the actors and crew don’t do their jobs or don’t work hard and I’m a fan of this show but Jesus this show is hitting all the wrong marks.
Guy just walks into the rv and says clear without even checking the closed door. If I was hiding in an rv it would probably be a good idea to hide in there.
@@kraemergamer5826 In real life there would be no fire on scene even after the gunman is taken out the entire parmenter would need to be checked then cleaned to call in for fire or ems. These shows no nothing about reality in emergency services
@@darthkillerhog Not entirely true. Usually when people are in custody they send in medical. They can't have medics waiting 45 minutes for officers to check every knook and cranny if they know the scene is well and clear. Fire and medical are equipped with ballistic vests and helmets now, allowing them to move in sooner.
@@technorunner1 Your speaking to someone in EMS and you wre entirely wrong. No ems and fire will not be sent in until the scene is declared safe. Number 2. Only major cities and county/ state have bullet proof vest and not even some of them have it, so no not everyone has it and its expensive to get it. Majority of all departments are volunteers and unless theres a grant or it's being donated they arnt getting it. You people absolutely astonish me who arnt in emergency services thinking you all know everything when you dont.
Yeah this show is very ridiculous in that manner. Our shooter here would have never slipped out the first time because by the time SWAT arrived there'd be thirty police units locking down the entire block form all angles.
I like it’s aspects and then I did wonder why swat was always on the scene I’m like aren’t the police suppose to be there first unless swat has other jobs like this
@@darthxeno3434 Yeah, even in LA which has dedicated SWAT teams there's be standard police units exchanging fire with the shooter and probably killing or at least containing him well before SWAT arrived.
Revenge. His family died in a fire that Captain Hauser couldn't send his men into without risking their lives too (it was at the point where they might as well just piss on the fire, for all the good they were able to do against it) and the Guy blamed them for it. As Hauser said, if the Mayor and the Chief had just let him say sorry, they might not be in this situation but apparently, they denied his request because it would ruin the Department reputation or some bureaucratic shit like that. bureaucrates, only care about people when they can benefit off them. If there ain't PR in Little Timmy, then Little Timmy can fuck off a bridge whilst they sit back and watch whilst eating Russian Caviar on Wholewheat Crackers with zero fat goat's milk butter...
@@g.i.azilla3557His wife and daughter died in an apartment fire, and Hauser, the firefighter held hostage, didn’t send his men in because they would’ve died too, the fire was that out of control. Adam Max was at work so he didn’t let them die, he tried to sue the fire department, but lost and used all of his appeals. I understand he tried to settle things the right way, but the courts wasn’t on his side and he wanted to avenge their deaths. As Marvin Heemeyer, a real life man who was screwed over himself and built a bulletproof bulldozer to demolish his town, once said, “Sometimes reasonable men must do unreasonable things.” But murdering the Fire Department isn’t what his Wife and Child would have wanted.
@@itsmeMJ437 Chill, I wonder if they're just getting mixed up with Michelle Rodriguez's character Chris Sanchez from the 2003 movie SWAT. As for the MP5, honestly, I think the show thinks it's more suitable for a smaller woman which is BS. She's not even using the stock correctly.
@@itsmeMJ437 No. In the 2003 SWAT movie with Collin Farrel and Samuel L. Jackson, Chris's last name is Sanchez. I don't know why they changed it for this series.
