It's a bit wifi input lag and a bit like "o shit I'm panicking, lemme just throw a button". Dk abuses that panicking stuff on players rather than characters

Don’t think this Luigi grabbed once. Good to do some other stuff and not be predictable, but like there were so many times when chunky shielded and he just did nothing.
are you dumb? Look through the entire video and see if there was a moment where the DK was sitting in a shield waiting to be grabbed. The DK was running away throwing out retreating back airs. Luigis grab frame 14 and good players play not to grabbed by luigi it's not that easy.
@@FlappyCat-ef6oq well he could have easily gotten a dtilt, Zair, nair or tech read to get a grab. Luigi's don't just go for grab if an opponent is holding shield Luigi has true combo's into it :/

This Luigi lost because he plays too aggressive (huge overuse on fireballs) allowing the other player to study and react to the assault (smash attacks). Also he recovered the exact same way every single time by missiling over and mashing fireballs.
Oh the Luigi lost, welp, I hardly ever see Luigi win online sets. Like I main Luigi so I watch lots of them and he just doesn’t win. Luigi has such a shit neutral. He was for sure better in smash4, he is like bottom of top tier or high mid tier now
@@ezip8564 I don’t think you can solo main Luigi online unless you were just way better than your opponents. His bad matchups are a lot of characters that benefit from wifi
Well maybe that’s why you are still hear. I’m think most other matchups are boring and hardly watch sets anymore especially since I don’t know any of these players nowadays. If people can think sonic is hype to watch then I’m just not surprised by anything. I do strongly disagree with you though. Also it’s not even remotely possible to change someone’s mind over the internet
@@Paraglare mk combos seem hard on WiFi but luigi combos are also hard. That matchup can get explosive because Luigi Is killing with grab stuff but dying offstage to combos and ledge guards
Honestly worst gameplay of luigi I've ever seen, except myself lol. Great combo game mind but not even trying to go for grabs, almost as if you were making a challenge out of it???!?!?!

@@WolfsArcticRain reason why I wasn’t going for it too much was because I know chunky plays around grab really well and fishing for it isn’t going to get me anywhere. I also know that in my own gameplay my conversions off stray hits are good enough to net stocks/major damage. Looking at it now I def didn’t play the greatest during this set and didn’t adapt properly to how chunky was playing, I was trying to callout fullhops a lot and he just wasn’t giving them to me, should’ve stayed more grounded and patient and I maybe could have gotten a grab or two if I had spaced myself better and consciously conditioned shield
