The Science Episode 1: The 4 C’s of Portraiture Lighting
Episode 1 of the Science has landed!
Color Expert Tim Kang reimagines the concept of three-point lighting with a new technique called the 4 Cs: Contour, Contrast, Clarity, and Color. This technique breaks the confines of the traditional key, fill, and back light, and allows filmmakers to think of their image more creatively. Using multiple lights from the Rainbow Series, Tim explains this new technique of shaping the subject with light.
