Sir, we all understand your anger and frustration against some quacks who without any qualification roam around prescribing some herbs or churans. But abusing Ayurveda & using the pic of Rishi Muni as thumbnail to do that is deplorable. You are a great doctor. I respect you. We all know there are very few well informed Ayurveda experts. Most others are quacks. Abuse, vent you frustration on them but please don't use the pics of our Rishis. This does not harm them but the point you're trying to make becomes weak.

According to Ayurveda (quotting from nhp.gov.in) : The Rasa Dhatu(blood), which comes to Yakrit(liver) and Pleeha, gets colored by Liver An expert (or even quack) in ayurveda , would treat Liver as a blood coloring organ. If Ayurveda still follows these texts and teachings (which we clearly know contain lot of ill information like the one above) The texts and the writers of the text need to be criticized and practitionaires or researchers of ayurveda has to publically admit "In this part about liver our guru was wrong" But it never happens , does it ? Instead 99% get offended and throw in emotions about our "culture" "religion" bla bla. That 1% who truly seeked answers outside the "books" laid foundation to modern medicine. Scientists were thrilled when Einstein's concept of "cosmological constant" was proven wrong. This breakthrough discovery lead to furhter discoveries. Scientist were not OFFENDED that their teacher Einstien was wrong. Just because a guru or a monk wrote it , doesn't make it right.

Enik 28 vayasai,ithu varem ait alopathic medicine use chythittla,nte veetil achanum(healthy at 67, slightly higher sugar n cholesterol levels) ee alopathic medicine use chyndi vanittla. Similar story ente oru relative inum undayit ond my mom is a nurse and she told them don't go for this herbs. But they went😑 now modern medicine treatment il aanu and one more thing happened they started telling everyone they met to not go for ayurveda for big desease 😅 ( valya asugangalk allopathy aan nallath ketto )

Respected sir,some traditional vaidyas are expertise in treating liver pathologies..we have accept them..I also agrees that,some fake vaidyas without assessing the patients symptomatic presentations or subjective findings and objective parameters they are giving medicines that brings negative results..as sir mentioned kashaya basti which that person advised which is not indicated in persons with indigestion, emaciation ,ascitis etc..also I want to say that some of our ayurveda medicines like Liv 52,menosan,cystone,sathavari etc used by allopathy drs eventhough it's derived from a formulation of multiple herbs..but certainly we also know our limitations.its my personal opinion.thanks sir
