After realizing that I'm unable to get my motorbike repaired in Broome, i have made a desicion! I'm going to Perth! Perth is the capital city of Western Australia and with that the biggest city in WA. This will be my best shot in sorting out a bike! I'm doing this 2500 KM Drive whit mel, mel is a 4WD Tour bus operator whom i ran in to a couple times already in my trip! He offered me if i wanted to drive to Perth whit him!

Great to see you got a free ride to Perth and by a nice character as well, shame about the bike though after so many klms that it has taken you over the country, but look on the bright side you will be getting a new bike well new second hand one anyway, looking forward to the next installment of your aussie adventure. I hitched hiked from Perth to Fitzroy Crossing back in 1975, the road from Port Hedland to Broome was a dirt road and it was hell on earth as a cyclone travelled along that area and washed all the road bridges away. So l think you got it easy these days. Safe travels!!!

It's always interesting to hear other nationality's voice their surprise at the distances we Aussies travel as a matter of course. Despite having traveled hundreds of thousands of kilometres around this land I still love to see it, especially the drone footage. But still my preferred mode of travel is the motorcycle, once having covered 1700 km in a single, but long, day. I hope you soon find yourself a reliable set of wheels so as to continue your journey of discovery,

Maaate, 1700km in one day! Kinda makes my 1100km efforts seem lame. Tell me, was that through necessity or were you just in the zone and kept riding?

It's really true, distances to be traveled in Australia are insane! The best part about it is trying to explain someone from the netherlands how extreme the distances are here! On a daily base i do the distance wich would cross my own country twice! It's absolutley stunning isnt it! Australia from above! Thanks for watching my video's mate much appreciated!

The gearbox stuffed up internally....... No way of fixing it since it would be to expensive.... I purchased a new tenere! Videos will be comming up whit that sooN!

Unfortunatley not...... a totall loss..... makes the wallet a lot thinner..... but the new bike shines like a beast :)

Tenere 660,s should do over 200,000 kilometers,easily,without engine rebuild,something wrong,somewhere,get a newer one,that you can start from sate place,with a safe bike,n'dontvwar leathers,in the desert,phew, I'm suffocating just thinking of it!!!There is always,s better way
