This took us quite a few days to do 😅. We've been taking these photos since last week. We wanted to include everything, as we didn't get an early unit. So we decided to spend our time and do a better video. Let us know what you'd like us to improve, for the next ones! Or if you'd like to see some more tests / some more specific photos.
i hope they also use tiktok/instagram camera and upload pictures or videos with music just to test out it's content-creating capabilities and the processing (instead of just the usual android vs iphones comparison) because i do think it's the reason why people choose iphones over androids
when you said the samsung had a wider field of view i looked and they are identical, Also it seems like these camera comparisons are so inconsistent. You can go watch other videos where it shows the iPhone does better zoom up to 10x and everywhere under that. not sure why theres always so many inconsistencies
@@asimmoideen5960 quality control or the people using them lol. I’ve noticed how this guy always seems to find a way that the Samsung wins which makes sense since they sponsored a few of his videos reviewing it. Which is even worse. I would never trust what he says no offense.
Could you compare s23U with s24U? Upgrading the series, the S24U camera has lower chroma than S23U.Also S24U has more light color of display like iPhone.
I received my S24 Ultra yesterday. Somehow black seems to look like gray. I compared it with my iPhone. Is this normal or can it be fixed with an update?
The camera comparisons is not a fair comparison, iPhones has had so many updates to the camera to make it where it is today and the S24 Ultra hasn't had one update for the camera as of now.
androids guys are so used to have multiple camera update after release and think it's normal. Quite depressing to sell a phone for 1300$ that is not even 100% operational.

I never said it was a bad camera it's exceptional, I just don't think it's fair to say "wait for the update for the S24 before". Like dude the iPhone was fully operational from the start soooo no reason for not comparing eachother right now.@@Renegade48
I can tell you put a lot of effort into the video so good job! However, this is the first video I’ve seen that doesn’t have the iPhone clearly winning. It takes more detailed photos with its 24MP, portrait mode is better with 5x, and on some cases the zoom is even better than the Samsung because Samsung softens their zoom shots so much. Doesn’t mean you were wrong but I wonder if you took your shots differently than everyone else? Mainly because it’s strange that the iPhone wasn’t killing it during the day main camera shots (more detail).
So basically if you content creator go with the iPhone it has better video and better raw You like to take pics go with the ultra I’ll choose video recording over photos any day
I think samsung had better front video, your face just looked so much cleaner and the lighting looked incredible, while the iphone was incredibly soft and orange
For me, the most important thing is stability, when you imagine it in your head and can guess the result, exactly the way you wanted, clearly, smoothly and with excellent stabilization. With Samsung everything is a little chaotic, the video is sometimes overexposed and there is noise at night. iPhone is the best in this regard

16:05 lol wtf? I almost couldn't hear the iPhone over the wind. The S24U did heavy sound processing in order to remove the wind noise and it did a pretty good job.
@@clickbaitpro I disagree, if you listen to the clip on any decent speaker or pair of headphones (I did on my Vifa Copenhagen 2.0), iphone sounds wayy more natural
@@lukabosnjak3829 I am listening on Sennheiser HD 660s2 and I still think Samsung did the best given the situation - the wind noise was greatly reduced and this allows you to actually hear what is being said. The iPhone audio is barely usable.

Hi Daniel Great work. Samsung dropped a long awaited software update yesterday. This update includes camera improvements. Could you please do this camera comparison later again to see there any significant improvement in Galaxy side. Love from Bangladesh.

I wouldn't mind a waxy look if it hid my wrinkles! 😂 My S24 Ultra arrived yesterday, only taken a few pics today, HDR not as good as 8 Pro, but pics brighter so its a case of finding the best lens to use now, impresed with 12mp Dan, i took mine in 50mp, and had scene optimiser on, I dint know if it's best on or off it seems to do weird brightening in some pics, Dan did you have the sceme optimerser on ir off for these please? I'll try with off tomorrow & use 12mp. ❤xx
Samsung and Apple are camera kings they both performed amazing samsung has improved a lot in night amd portrait shots on the galaxy s24 ultra more punchy and less noise since samsung didn't beat in the video section iphones have been always the video king both phones have their own ups and downs I love both of their camera systems they're both so much better than the pixels camera system pixel needs to take some notes from apple and samsung
I hate saying this but is Samsung paying for this review? You said in one of the pictures that Samsung did better on a door but it was the muddy picture and much more blurry. I hope I’m wrong on this because I typically feel you are unbiased on these reviews and VS videos
I'm probably going to be getting the Ultra this year but one thing that really bugs me and I notice hardly anyone talks about is, look at the video in the park segment comes on and you can notice loads of micro stutters on the S24 Ultra's footage but the iPhone is buttery smooth. I love the photos and the video quality, just wish this stutter wasn't a thing as it's the first thing I notice.😂
🤔 It seems like a matter of the preference when it comes to cameras in these two phones. I went for iphone 15 pro max due to the video processing as i want to use it for professional looking videos instead of dragging bug came with me. However I ended up with complaining and getting annoyed by the iOS which is many times useless on daily basis. 🤦♂️ But, this being said, I'm not sure what iphone does but I can't put this phone down. I also feel great using it even when getting annoyed by it. 🤔 Don't ask me, I can't explain that happening. However, I know S24 ultra is a better phone when it comes to usability, multitasking and features. But then, I love that iphone. 🤔 what a nonsense, right? 🤣
What i observed from the tests were both are great but People not actually buying a phone prefer s24 but People who actually got a phone just went with an iphone

Every Samsung I've had since the S10 has had a better camera. I rarely find any camera that I can't improve the image on with post editing. Having said that, I haven't drug my Canon SLR out of the closet in a few year years. Everything else the S24U does makes it no contest. My first and only Apple product was a Power Mac desktop computer and that was enough grief for me. I can see I made the right decision on trading my S23+ in on an S24U. Can't wait to get it. Update: I've had the phone a week now, and have only just begun to scratch the surface. Cpu was like going from a straight 4 cylinder to a V12 supercharged. Average app installation (over WiFi @ 650MB down) is 5-8 seconds. Already got the System update, adding a "Vivid" slider and camera updates. The foreign language translator and photo AI editing features alone were worth upgrading from the S23+. Haven't even had much time with the S-pen yet. Have been doing media file organization, which is uber quick! So glad I upgraded!

These two phone have both great potential, maybe the Samsung can improve a bit more, being newer, especially in the highlights handling, where is worse than the s23... Good comparison. But know that the Samsung 24 ultra camera has 200 megapixels, while the iPhone 15 pro max has a 48 megapixels. How can you compare them? Thanks to the iPhone, it copes despite the opponent being 4х better than himself😂 Better compare redmi note 12+ vs Samsung 24 ultra. Both have a 200-megapixel camera👌🏻

you were wrong about that audio part, the samsung audio focused on your voice more than on the wind but the iphone didn't even try to do any type of cancellation which makes it worse than the samsung's, none is better by the way but the samsung is a little better.
Also with Preorders and exchanges You get twice the storage on Samsung for the same Cost and S-pen remote trigger is always good for group selfies. Apple is so greedy with their higher storage pricing.
Hello there, I need some advice. A good camera is the most important feature to me when getting a new phone. At the moment I'm still on the S20+ and I pre-ordered the S24 Ultra. Yesterday my boss announced that he ordered a standard iPhone 15 256 GB (not pro model) as a job phone for me which I'm getting next week. We're allowed to use job phones for private purposes and install anything we want besides some business apps. I was not expecting to get a phone for my job. I never had an iPhone before, my last 2 phones were the S7 and the S20+. Now the S24 Ultra was also shipped by Samsung yesterday and should arrive today or on Monday. What do you think, should I return the S24 Ultra and stick to the iPhone as my daily driver or keep both phones for photography? Most comparisons are S24 Ultra vs iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max but not vs iPhone 15 standard.
If you are looking for photography then iPhone is nowhere close to Samsung galaxy ultra unless it's a pro model. I've used S20+ plus before and i loved that phone except for its Exynos processor. I've taken photos on both iPhone pro and Samsung ultra models but i personally prefer Samsung for its image processing. I think regardless of these reviewers opinions, it's about personal preference. Both phones are really good and there is no major superiority in terms of camera quality . I don't find iPhone's yellowish tone on photos appealing and i prefer Samsung's image processing for my liking. As i said it's completely personal preference i think.
